Scary Thing Is

Each morning, we drink our first cup of coffee in bed at 4 am... when Bob gets up and turns his bathroom light on, this is what I see from my bed. Bathroom is to the right, the black door is the 2nd bedroom.

Scary thing One is that I took this photo!
Scary Two is the fact I love it and it makes me want to draw it. the lines and shadows fascinate me.
Scary Three is why the builder of this home made the choice if someone is in sleeping in both bedrooms the snores and other sounds are like we are in the same room.
Other scary things.
I had the phone in bed because it dinged.
Facebook warning me that our youngest granddaughter is 31 today!
WHAT?
that led to  thinking of the others ages, Lanie, 31, Joseph 33, Alyssa 34, Josh 34, Matthew 32
all five grands in their thirties.
Meanwhile bob in his bathroom, combing his hair, has no idea I am taking photos, thinking scary thoughts, one of which is our 36th Anniversary is only 3 weeks away.
All our grands were born 3 to 4 years after we got married.
If that seems strange, Lanie and Joe are his and the other 3 are mine, by our first spouses.
Last but not least SCARY is why I am posting this.

I had no idea you have so many grandchildren! This photo does look just a bit scary, and I don't know why.

Time flies especially when realizing how fast these young ones have grown. That’s a real interesting shot.

Hello Sandra, I thought that drinking my first cup of tea at 6 am was very early!:=) Never knew you had five adult grandchildren. They are the same age as mine, and sometimes I can hardly believe Americo and I have been married for 61 years. Time does seem to fly, especially as one gets older.

I like your shot!

I didn't realize you had that many grandchildren.
You and I both know the reason for why you are posting this. Because you can!!!

I totally hear ya about being scary! The President has 6 grands, while I have 1. He has 2 greats while I have none. Insulation is put. in exterior walls not interior I believe. causing sound to travel and reunite...and boy does it ever!!...jp

Good morning Sandra

I always drink my first cup of coffee at the computer. It is scary when you realize how much time has gone by, so quickly. My niece is 40 and my son is 28, those years went by in a blink of an eye. We are looking forward to our first grandchild, coming in just a few weeks now. Take care, enjoy your day!

Your grand children have very nice names.
Too bad you didn't capture a snap of Bob combing his silver head furs.

That's a lot to be scared of before you even get out of bed in the morning! lol Most of us have all those crazy thoughts when we are trying to go to sleep at night! lol Hope your day is filled with some non scary fun! Hugs!

I would have to keep the door to the other bedroom closed or keep a lamp on in there, too scary looking into the dark room. I had no idea you had so many grands either!

(Not so) Scary Thing, I may do the same thing. Can't pinpoint what absurd time of the night/morning, but I can no longer sleep through the night without having to visit the bathroom. And as long as I'm up, 'might as well do something fun.

I've two grand-girls, 26 and 23. Tom's 7 grands range in age from 23 to 7 y/o.

You’re not scary! You are fascinated with just about everything! You are never bored!
Do any of your grands live close? My sister, Nita, says she loves that her grands all live a few states away! She loves them and they visit a time or two or maybe three through the year.....

Morning was made for mulling over memories.

I'm terrified, here all by myself!! Seriously though, I love that you
notice the shadows. And get inspired. That's not scary. Talk about scary builders: The guy who built this house was then going to live in it with his wife. There's no laundry room. Laundry has to be done in the shed. There is also no broom closet! Was his wife too intimidated to remind him of such things, I often wonder.e

That first image IS like something out of Amityville horror.

I thought I'd be reading about your new computer this morning. Anxious to "hear" all about it!

I'm thinking that what makes that image interesting (and perhaps also scary) is the perspective - i.e. that it's not straight, but leaning. I can imagine that photo blown up really big on an otherwise empty wall at a photo exhibition. The really scary thing is that you'd probably have to be already famous to get it exhibited on that wall and sold for thousands of dollars as a great piece of Art...
