Here I sit, oh woe is me,
I have nothing to post but a volunteer tree
and a powder puff flower, with a bee.
The little tree you see,
will look like the flower with the bee,
except the flower will a mini flower be.
the one with the flower is a full size tree,
the one in the corner will a mini tree be.
Click RIGHT HERE take a minute to see,
you will find miniature powder puff and regular size trees.
Note, the mini has a half flower, the regular has a round whole flower.
Our yard has 4 volunteer mini's but we have never had a volunteer plant from the regular tree.

These photos are great, and your prose is always fun to read. I do love the powder puff, such an unusual and tropical looking bloom.
Hello,
Cute post, I like the volunteer trees and the pretty powder puff flower. I wish these trees grew here. Take care, enjoy your weekend!
I do not know these plants, but if you look at this link you will see that we have something like this and it is called "Red lamp cleaner"!
Hugs!
So pretty, and what a great capture of the bee on the flower! or I could say Just a little ditty, this is so pretty. Such a great capture of the bee on the flower, this has to be the prettiest I've seen in an hour. LOL! :D

Did you know that Ranger, the Scottie has Wacky January holidays up on his blog. Quite handy it gives us lots to post about the the month. A few years ago he did this for each month too.
I'll copy his link and be back with it.
Hugs Cecilia
Here is Ranger's Friday Post with the January wacky holidays

We had a couple of bottle brush trees in AZ. ...but, I like the powder puff better. Softer & prettier looking.
You definitely know the secret to a successful blog from nothing.
That's so cool how you captured that bee. And call my attention to stuff I would ordinarily miss.
Mother Nature thanks you ... and I do too!
I'm like Anni, we have "Bottle Brush bushes around us but these puffs are so much more soft and delicate. Terrific prose and terrific capture of the bee on your volunteer.
It sure brightened my day. It's gray, damp and just plain cold this AM.
Going to do my care-giving stint in about an hour, then come home to get the as Linda Chapman would say...get the debris down.
I was going to do it yesterday but Steve and family came over, brought lunch/dinner from In & Out to celebrate birthday and visit for a while.
First day of the year and I already messed my diet up!
So
Its back to square one today.
I can do this...

I love this new little tree! Do you know what kind it is? It looks like the artificial ones that people buy to put in their homes, which cost too mush for me to buy.I have a whole picture folder of just your Powder Puffs!
Not surprisingly, I've never seen a powder puff flower...it's beautiful. Thanks for the day-brightening post. 💕
I like those Powder Puff flowers. Seeing the one from the mini will be interesting .
The Powder puff flower is so pretty. How cool that you have volunteer trees.
Cant say I've ever seen a powderpuff tree, the blossoms are so pretty! Love you cute little poem, your post always make me smile!!
Happy New Year!!
Great photos...and that powder puff flower is just beautiful. I am lucky to have some great plants in this place as the windows are perfect for growing things. xo Diana
