On my morning walk, the sun enhanced the Marble Queen Pothos hanging from this oak tree.
The many varieties of Pothos are invasive in our tropical year round growing season, but they are beautiful. They can and do kill trees if not removed.
They also will give a rash like poison ivy if the milk from the vines gets on our skin.
it's caturday art day and Lunapic Made Me do this....it is not autumn here and we don't have autumn, but the edit made me think of autumn.

We had to go and research Pothos. Devil's Ivy? Everything we can find extolls its virtues as an easy care houseplant (which suugests it's prolific and hard to kill). What kind of trres do you call 'oak'? The leaves are very different to what we in Europe are familiar with.
Gosh it is huge. Here, Pothos are harmeless little house plants. I love this last edit!!
We have a few pothos in our apartment because they are so easy to grow. I wouldn't want one killing a tree, though!
Another parasitic plant. I see mistletoe often, but I don't recall this one.
Hello Sandra
It is a pretty plant, it is sad that it can kill the trees. Pretty edited image.
Take care, enjoy your day!
Epipremnum aureum ... In the Netherlands this is a decoration plant, and I didn't know it is so toxic!
Enjoy your weekend, Sandra!
Hugs!
I never would have known this was a pothos, it doesn't look like the one I have hanging in my house. I had no idea they could kill a tree.

Yeah, that's a way bigger leaf than I am used to seeing on Pothos, but I guess if running rampant in tropical regions, it could do this. I didn't know it was this parasitic though. I too had a question of your 'oak' but go and ogle revealed there are many 'oaks' in Florida, none of which resemble the traditional English Oak! Nature is a wonderful artist. YAM xx
I had no idea Pothos killed trees if not removed. Good to know! Love the edit Sandra. Have a great weekend :)
I love the play of color when the sun's ray hit it 'just so.' Great timing!
That's a neat quote about Autumn. I mentioned on another blogger's snow pictures yesterday how I'd love to have huge canvas prints of Fall and Winter scenes to look at during the gosh-awful summer months.
All equally beautiful; however, I love the last one and the quote.
Hugs Cecilia
I love that last photo and I love the sunshine!
Awesome last picture.
Love the quote with the way you enhanced the shot.
Very clever.

I have never heard of Marble Queen Pothos. Such an interesting plant! Always enjoy your artsy pics. Nice effect!
Love the edit!!
YOU are flipping amazing!!!...jp
They really are beautiful...and reminded me of autumm, too.
Who knew??? I think of mistletoe when I think of a tree killing parasite. Guess there's more than one. You made it look beautiful, though. Deadly but pretty!!
Pothos is another one of those plants that may be grown indoors over here, but would never survive a Manitoba winter.
Those leaves are huge! So pretty in the tree.
Lovely photos. Here we are staying indoors as we are hit by a new wave of snow and icy winds every other day this month. We do not even take the car out unless it is for a bit of fresh food or amedication.we are in a picturesque winter wonderland for now.
