Something New

I sat typing in email, on my desktop. It is so much easier to SEE because it has a 26 inch monitor. I noticed something I had not seen before. 4 buttons, out to the side.
 Calendar
Keep
Task
Contacts
I clicked on all of them and now I have something new, that I love.

KEEP is where you can copy and paste something you found in email you want to save.
the first Note I saved there was instructions on what to do if your comments stop coming your email from your blog. Fourpawsetc stopped sending me your comments, which is how I read them.
I quckly went to the place we used in OLD blogger, it was there but was grayed out.
I went a a forum and found the fix.

Now it resides here on this post  and in KEEP
I added the 3 places we can get Virus Vaccinations and the link, so far I am unable to get an appointment, but the numbers are there to call if I get sick and need a test.

Sad to say it is not on Gmail phone and tablet. Only on Desk and Laptop PC.

It was hidden from you and you didn't notice the scroll bar at the bottom? But, now you're rolling in cotton...like me. Maybe you will be lucky & get the Johnson & Johnson one shot!!!

Hello,
It is great you have found these hidden buttons. I must not be paying attention when typing an email. Anything to make life easier is good. Thanks for sharing. I hope you can get a vaccine appt soon. Take care, enjoy your day!

You are such a techie! I would have never noticed. I can't believe you still can't get an appointment, that's ridiculous!

How cool is that? I don't see those icons on my screen, but that won't stop me from digging!
You may already be aware, but just in case. I talked with Debbie yesterday and she was able to secure her vaccine appt. in two days on the Publix website. Unless Tom makes up his mind and calls the VA, I'm still suck waiting until May 26.

...that's been on Gmail for about three years now... even on the laptop - though not on the 'app' version which you get on the android machines. I rarely use the Calendar, much preferring my traditional wall version. I do use the Keep and Tasks listing a fair bit, which is a bit like 'sticky notes' for the desk. And, of course, Contacts is used a fair bit. Everything in one place - gotta be good, right?!! YAM xx

Happy Dr. Seuss Day!!!

Very interesting. I have put some things in "keep" but I forgot about doing that.
