My Daily Exercises for YOU

Exercise? I thought you said Xtra Fries!
Don't Run with bagpipes, you could put an Aye out, or worse yet, get Kilt!

do what you hate to do, but do it like you love it!

I wanted you to see just how cute I look while doing my daily exercises.

Below are the Scans of exercises I do 5 days a week in the pool, and sometimes at the counter.

They work if you work them, I have been doing these since Nov 2015, they were given to me by a physical therapist, and keep my arthritis at bay, help my knees, and hips and back.
I have osteoarthritis in all those spots. If I miss more than 2 days, the pain comes back.

Less pain is a great motivator. 15 Minutes a day, 5 days a week.

Hello,
Good for you, exercise is important.
We all need to keep moving. The images and puns are cute.
Take care, have a great new week!

You do look cute doing your exercises. Good for you doing these every day. I might have to try these. My hip has been killing me after an hour or so in to my work day.

I have similar exercises I do for my sciatica.
ALso at my annual physical last week my doctor suggested I start a light weight lifting routine with hand held weights.

Stinkin' cute! This reminds me of Oliva Newton-John's fun song/video "Let's Get Physical."
I agree, movement-- any movement -- every day is key. I wasn't familiar with that chair exercise but no reason I can't try that, right here at the computer.

Sandra, I just read this post after returning from the in-house gym here. Bending and moving are things we can all do to keep arthritis and other ailments at bay for as long as possible.

We have that in comment - I exercise and stretch with my PT exercises every day - It is the only thing that keeps me moving!

We like your warrior pose. Interesting to hear from someone confirming that exercise of the right kind does help deal with arthritic pain. Whole generations might gave been robbed of movement by being told to rest the joints and take it easy. Daily exercise (exercise as opposed to 'doing stuff') feels like a real (and pointless) chore sometimes. Even though I have been an 'exerciser' pretty much all my adult life I regularly fall off the wagon and have to dig around for the motivation to climb on again. Good on you for sticking with it and proving it works. (Inspiration if ever I needed it.)

Cute illustrations of you doing your exercises. Glad they help. Hubby and I work out at the counter too. We need to keep moving don't we.

Your little avatars are adorable!!! I would rather watch you than do them myself, of course. I have arthritis in the exact same places! My back is so bad that they are unable to get an epidural in it.

You’re adorable! I’m dedicated about my exercise too, but I stream videos while I do it to make it fun. ❤️

Oh those exercises look hard to me in my present state, especially the one where I'd have to aim my large rear-end at the chair but then stand up at the last second! I admire that you have stuck with them!

Well I don't have a pool nearby however, I still take Tai Chi twice a week and find that when I stop, I'm stiff. Moving is the best form of medicine, I think...jp
