My favorite house in the village, was RED the last time I took a dozen pics of it. Aqua gone mad in all of our city. I want this house. I wanted it when it was red, I want it still.
Bob doesn't like the aqua! Of course not! there is very little in this world that we agree on.
we love aqua, it is a cool color ;O) the mama has such a house too, what appears as hers in her dreams... but since our dad said what it was once many moons ago, the mama changed her dream LOL
I think the house that's newly painted will look better when it's more weathered. It must be strange one day to see a red painted house and then on the next visit find it's had a makeover and has been painted in a different colour. Here most houses are brick or stone or covered in pebble dash rendering and painted cream or white. The arty houses are interesting and colourful.
Hari OM I totally love the design of the house and see why you do too... however, I'm with Bob on the colour. I'd've been inclined to all white - to reflect away some of the heat! YAM xx
F agrees with you - her kind of house whatever colour it is painted with. Lots of old houses in the NZ of her youth were in that style. Fewer remain with each passing decade. She wants to build one like that to retire in (but who would want to be repainting weatherboards for the rest of their lives?) xxx Mr T
That first image looks SO like the Old Florida I remember. I'd love to see this is person sometime. For me, I like the red best. Shaking my head and chuckling, imagining some paint store owner getting rich every time someone in the Village changes his mind.
The aqua is so Florida or what my image of what Florida is.... It looks so crisp and fresh but I really liked that shade of red too. A home that color just wouldn't fit in our neighborhood, maybe because most of the houses have brick facades. I really love that white front porch and would really like sitting there to watch the world go by. Is the house raised because of flooding? Does it make a "nice" home for critters? Just askin' for a friend... (:0) Sue
With houses, I prefer red... But then red wooden houses are traditional here in Sweden, so therefore feel "natural" to me :) Besides red, white and yellow are also common here, while blue and green are rare.
I LOVE AQUA BIG TIME . Nice places you are showing again. We up in Canada having problems with hackers . I have been taking my hubby to my place to visit and me to his. Made supper for him at my place and then at his place I stay after he has eaten .In his place many things are starting to open . My son will be able to see him once he gets his second vaccination but will have to show prove. We can take him to the park.

I liked it better when red (I compared). The aqua makes it look like a sore thumb.

Hello,
I love the cute house and the aqua color is beautiful.
Have a happy day!
It's a cute little house. I can't decide which color I like better. The aqua sure is brighter than the red.

PS... I noticed that the cinder blocks are only half painted...maybe they ran out of paint. It does draw attention to the house though...

I love the color of this house. I love the house!
I could take that house myself - I love aqua! Love the house with the Spanish moss over it.

I want that house too! It looks perfect to me.
I like the house, but would probably like a different color better.
It's cheerful. ❤️
