I am not starving

I found these two dressings for salad and sandwiches that are Low Fodmap and they don't hurt my IBS. The mayonnaise is hellmanns Vegan and is delish  and I like it better than my preferred Blue Plate Mayo.
See the big lettuce leaf? I smeared Hellman's on the leaf and laid a piece of ham on the tomatoes and folded the leaf around. Not as good as white bread but tastes really good.
I love red Bell peppers, I had to fix something for Bob to go with ham. He had a salad with all the dressing and mashed potatoes and corn. He doesn't care for rice and would never put green beans on rice.
I don't like creamed corn on potatoes. He loves it.
It's tough making to different meals.
this looks like a lot, but it is less than 400 calories.

UPDATE on m doc visit. Hurry Up and Wait! One of my issues is certain foods will not go down and stick in my throat.
She ordered a video swallow test, could be a month or two before that is done. I am fine as long as I don't eat the wrong thing

I have had this swallow test, it is a good one good. Wow, that is a long time to wait! I guess because the hospitals are overloaded? You continue to be so inventive and creative with your food! Which is why you can eat enough, thank goodness!

Oh yes, I like that Hellmans... and also the Dr Oetker vegan mayo. Godsends. Life without mayo would be dull indeed! YAM xx

Crikey that plate looks good. We all like the look of your ham which appears to have been carved off the bone. Someone did light that fire btw, AND the one in our room.

Oh, yum. The ham plate sure looks good. I'm glad you didn't show Bobs potato with cream corn. I HATE cream corn and find it totally disgusting...lol

Hello,

I have made sandwiches with lettuce, they are yummy. I have not seen that mayo and the salad dressing sounds yummy too. Your meal looks delicious. Take care, have a happy day!

We have to keep changing over the years and trying to make things work. My hubby and I eat LOTS of different foods. He is underweight and has to eat as many calories as he can just to keep from losing more. I better not eat what he eats or I would be a big as a barn! lol Enjoy your day. My favorite dressing it mayo, lemon juice with a tad of Truvia. I like Kraft mayo best.

UGH on that wait time! I wonder if those (like me) who put off all diagnostic tests last year are just now coming out of the woodwork.

Your plate looks really appetizing! At WM's baking aisle yesterday I was scouring the Keto, vegan (etc.) selections and thinking of you. (Actually, looking for the Sweet Leaf vanilla drops -- but no product by Sweet Leaf to be found.)
Except for Sunday dinner, Tom and I eat different foods every day -- but at least he makes his own.

Ham sounds sooooo good. I love rice...one of my favorite meals is round steak either fried or grilled, green beans and rice. It takes me back to the time Roger and I lived in Tennessee. That was a favorite meal then.

Is that balsamic dressing good too? Are you going to swallow something or have an endoscopy? I hope all is okay. Your food looks pretty good - no creamed corn for me!!!

Hello Sandra,:=) Your meal looks exactly like the kind of food I eat, well not exactly because I don't eat rice with salad, The ham looks like Parmer Ham cut from the bone. I learnt about Hellman's Vegan Mayo here, which I didn't know about. I had to cut out the normal Mayo from my diet, after my surgery, so perhaps the Vegan one will be OK.

I also have difficulty swallowing certain foods. One is bread, and I have to drink lots of water for it to go down.

That dinner plate looks very satisfying and healthy.
I hardly use any mayo and when I do its Kraft Mayo with olive oil.
That seems to work for both Dave and I. No IBS with that one.
So sorry you are having so much trouble swallowing. It sure seems like a long time to wait for the test results, but am glad you did finally get tested for it.
It seems to be one thing after another for you. Hope this is finally the end and you can get on with things.

Mom says Hellmann's is the only way to go when it comes to mayo. And she loves a plate of all kinds of veggies, and forget the scalloped potatoesL(

The plates look good. But...I got worn out making two meals, and the special meal was just picked at! That was about the time my hubby refused to eat ANYTHING I make. So, I fetch him takeout! I hope the test shows an easy fix for your swallowing problem. Too bad about that long wait!

So are your finding these items at Walmart? Your plate looks delicious. Yes I imagine it is not easy cooking two different meals.
