I love trains

I have ridden behind this Engine 4 times . It is at the Florida Railroad Museum and they have train rides with themes. This one we went to a battle in the US Civil War.
It is open again and I am feeling the urge to ride the rails.
this is an archive dive!

I remember when you did this, and posted the reenactments of the wild west.

Coooool. F loves trains too. Mr B took her on a train like that for a birthday treat one year - a grand opening (reopening) with champagne breakfast. It snowed. The big celebrations for the arrival of the first train in decades at the destination had flags and bands and dancing troupes.....all wrapped up and miserably cold waiting for the train to arrive. It was the end of March - it is not meant to snow in England at the end of March. We can't wait for your next train adventure. Will Beau go along? xxx Mr T

I too have a connection to trains as Jake had a fairly large model railroad downstairs.

Me, too! If I could smuggle the girls aboard, I'd love nothing more than to take a cross-country trip across these United States. Imagine ... the photo ops!

My brother absolutely loved trains. It was a passion of his. Living up in the mountains we could hear the trains in the valley below on a cold crisp night. xo Diana

My husband and I like to "chase" trains. That is a tiny engine, like what we call a "yard dog" engine! But it gets the job done, I am sure. What a labor of love, to keep that running.

Hello Sandra,:=)

I rarely go on trains, and not like this one, I'm sure it's a lot of fun, and I would enjoy the journey, but I would rather go on the "Orient Express." Have never been, but some of my friends have, and say it's a great experience.

That's great, loved the photos! Always fun to ride on an old steam trains. I remember as a kid my friends and I would run across the bridge and wait for the steam stack to wash over us and the train went beneath us. Still remember the fits of giggles :)

I like trains to - there are tours in NZ that take in various history places on our main trunk line, with the steam engines. But of course at the moment they are but a dream!
