Day 18 of no IBS symptoms...............wooooo hooooooo
My evening Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate is now been replaced due to Milk and Soy are on my No List
Stevia Flavored Drops, Carmel, Vanilla and Chocolate are on my yes list.
I tried the chocolate drops in milk, but that did not taste like Hot Choc.
I put 2 spoons of Cocoa Powder, a tad of salt, a spoon of Stevia Brown Sugar in a small pot, stirred it and added hot water and stirred while heating for 2 minutes.
no recipe just making it up...
Now I use that in Lactaid free milk, heat in microwave and have IBS symptom free hot chocolate.
The drops are also good in coffee or milk for something different.
. Where there is a will there is a way!
Above is my cup of Decaf Black tea sweetened with Carmel drops and a tad of milk.
OH YUM! Did not even know I was drinking Tea.
This is great for midmorning or mid afternoon.
Below I Monkeyed with the photo just for fun
That is my thumb at the top left. who knew thumbs could be photo bombers.

I never even heard of any of these things, but how wonderful that you found them! Looks like you will have cured yourself before you even get to the doctor!
Bloody marvellous - long may it last and great work narrowing down the triggers so fast.
that is a good thing, we will look for it... maybe the junk store can help us?
Hello,
Your tea sounds yummy. I will look for these sweet drops.
I am glad you are free of the IBS symptoms. Have a happy day!
Inam glad you figured out something that works.
You are amazing!
Hello Sandra,::)You are getting. better What good news!:=) Are these drops instead of sugar? Before reading about them here,I had not heard of them before. I must pass on this info to my friend, who also suffers from IBS. I like your mug Sandra, nice and large with good handle.

Stevia is one of nature's wonders... and your adaptation is marvellous - hoorah for all sorts of reasons!!! YAM xx
My husband uses those drops in his oatmeal. I'll have to experiment with some drinks! Sounds good for this winter! Hugs!
FIRST of all, I'm loving (coveting) that cup! Hmmm...
I've tried and tried, but never was a fan of tea. Now that you mention those drops, however -- I remember the caramel-flavor from something you posted months ago. Had to buy one for myself, but more often than not, I forget it's there. I'm going to look for the vanilla on my next Publix pilgrimage and will try some with a little of Tom's half-and-half. Thanks for sharing all your ideas; won't your doctor be surprised?!
Congratulations on the no IBS symptoms, and that you have found something to enjoy. I have never heard of those drop flavors before.
Oh what good news about the IBD.
I love the tea cup too
Hugs Cecilia
I'm so happy you have found out how to not have IBS. It sounds like you have found the perfect flavor combo and its satisfying too.
I haven't had milk in forever and that has sure helped me.
Going to the eye doctor this morning for a diabetes followup. Hope things are still ok in the ole eyeballs.
We have finally had a bit of rain..yay...everything needs it so badly..More to come I hope.

Congratulations on finding things that work for you and that you like! I've never seen those Stevia drops here. My supermarket used to have a mix of stevia + normal sugar which I used for baking, but lately they haven't had it. Haven't got round to investigating why...
This is so good to read...you did some good work for helping you with IBS. Love the crystal glass cup!
You are such a talented Pic-Monkey Pro!!!
So glad you are finding flavors and conquering IBD!!
great news - changing food items - is always hard - and then trying to find things that work...
I'm glad you found something that works for you.
