It all started with a new tree 4 PLUS the painting

The Nook is All I decorate.
The Painting by Linda Chapman was a game changer.
I hung it on the living room wall.
I hung it on the dining room wall.
It looked strange by itself. It Bothered Me.
I bought a rope garland of pinecones and berries and draped it.
NOPE!
Annie as in Hootin Annie suggested leaning the painting in the nook.
I had already tried that, and it was a big NO, too big for the nook
I dragged out my favorite Santa, a gift from my son's wife many years ago.
Plopped Santa on the trunk, leaned the painting, dropped the garland and swished it around.
Better but not right. Grabbed an old string of fairy lights and smushed it on the garland.
Yes! I like it.
The statue that was sitting on the kitchen counter looked ODD.
I grabbed the dog tree, 22 inches of dollar decor all unbreakable, it used to sit by my rocker.
Carried the 50 pound statue to the closet, pulled my back, plugged in the tree without freshneing it from its year of sitting in a bag on a shelf.
I like it, when I sit in my chair chatting with all of you, I can see it.
this is not The End.

You have created an entire scene here, and I love it! I am so bad with lights, they never look good for me.

I totally love this tableau! The folks at Macy's don't have a thing on the MadSnapper!
The most important thing is (that) it makes YOU happy.
