"Pot" News!

Each day I cook Beau a 37 second egg in the microwave. I saw this POT on Amazon and thought, I can cook his egg, cook my eggs and not even have to stand at the stove.

WRONG! It is easy and it works, it scrambles eggs quickly, but the one thing is, I don't like the taste. I am not fond of eggs and only eat them for protein, because I am not a meat eater and find it hard to get enough protein.
In the past before IBS I doused eggs with Ketchup, now I can't eat ketchup.
I was really bummed! I moaned I wasted my $$$
The light bulb popped over my head
And NOW I LOVE THIS POT
Since I cook for Bob and for Me separately now,
I end up reheating in the microwave a LOT!
Each weekend I cook 2 cups of Rice Elbows noodles and then reheat per meal.

Add to pot cold noodles, grate seriously sharp cheese, close lid and
ZAP! in 60 seconds my Mac and Cheese is Ready,
I use it now to put just about anything I want to reheat.
Meatloaf for Bob. Left over mashed potatoes/gravy.
Beans, Taters, Veggies, it reheats quickly anything at all.
I can eat apples if they are peeled, raw or cooked. I peeled and chopped an apple in the pot, sprinkled cinnamon, zapped 1 minute and YUM!
A blog friend Posted a recipe for Mug Cake, made in of course, a MUG.
The pot works better than a mug. 60 second cake,
I adjusted the recipe to gluten free flour and Ste via. Bob wanted to eat it when I let him taste it. I say get your on Pot Bob...
Wait! Maybe we need TWO POTS, don't leave me Amazon, I'm coming!

Be careful - it might bite! Beau described your recent record.... F says its the little toe stubbed on the sofa or bed leg that really hurts the most. Mr B says "wear shoes" but she never does. Sounds like you don't either. xxx Mr T

great that it is the pot made for you now... you are right with the proteins, without meat it is not easy to get enough....

It's a cute little pot. I'm glad you found a way for it to be useful. I love eggs but have never tried making them in the microwave.

I don't have that pot, but I have a range of microware (from NZ) which is red and is free of parabawhatevers (chemicals) and does allow me to prepare certain foods really well in the 'wave cooker. However, eggs, particularly scrambled, are just as quick and way tastier done on the stove! YAM xx

Looks interesting! We reheat in the microwave a lot! Might be a good solution!

You find the neatest things! I've not had any luck microwaving eggs, but Tom's always reheating something or another. Plus, this looks far easier to clean than those faux Tupperware containers (ie -- bane of my existence.)

F said to tell you that crayfish are big business in New Zealand (where they don't have lobsters) - and she described them to me as lobsters without claws. No I have never seen one, but it came out of water so I won't eat it (not even it's soul). xxx Mr T

I have become so spoiled with a microwave..we reheat everything but I really don't like the texture of eggs done in the microwave.
Your new thingy looks like just the right size for separate meals..good find.
To answer your question on the blog book, yes I believe you can just have printed only the ones you want. Everything is so step by step that even I can do it!
There are so many memories over the past years that I would hate to loose and I think after I'm gone the families will enjoy looking back at their crazy grandma and papa.

Hello Sandra,:=) It's a colourful pot, and useful, now you have figured out a way of using it to the best advantage. I reheat in the microwave a lot.

We don't think Mom has one of those pots here, but it sure looks like it is quite multi-functional. You sure have found lots of way to put it to good use.

Looks like a good little pot. I reheat a lot of stuff too, so maybe should try it.
