While Browsing

photo from FB marketplace

Sometimes I like to browse FaceBook Market Place, Local Real Estate. I sold Real Estate for four years from 1990 to 1994. I still love looking at houses. Back then there was no ON LINE to browse. We had a book with photos and had to drive around looking.

The first photo that came up showed the above house, it said it is for rent for 2300.00 per month. The address is about 4 minutes from home. It has been more than 2 years since we last drove the street. I was a few block away after running errands and decided to drive by. LINK to FB page if you want to see inside.

I found two old photos of it before the remodel. I have not done a drive by of this house yet, but will soon. I love it. I was on the street but it did not go all the way through and will have to go try again. Tomorrow you will see the others I found on the same street.

Above 2015, Below 2019 the made a jungle out of the front yard.

Of course I HAD to go inside and snoop. The bathroom is the same color as the outside of the house. And it looks like the dining room has one enormous closet on an entire wall, but it may be a big opening into the next room. It is very nice inside. The outside color, you would think it is too bright. But it does not come off that way, it all works.

I can't resist looking at pictures of the inside of houses. I like this one. It looks quite nice. I wouldn't like that rent though. That's more than 3 times what I was paying for a mortgage payment.

Hello,
The house color reminds me of Key West homes and the Caribbean Sea.
It looks pretty inside too. I often look at homes for sale online.
Take care, enjoy your day!

My son has a real estate license and shows me properties/homes in the area. Last week it was one going for $17 million! The landscaping alone was like a park. I'll see if I can find the link.

It is fun to see before and after photos and while I am not wild about the color choices, this one has definitely been improved by the renovations, Sandra.

Bravo to whomever was in charge of the design and remodel.
Oh Bryan asked me if Bob spray painted your house or used a brush? My B was very impressed with your B

Methinks I could live happily on that sun room/porch! Good thing I'm not that crazy about the rest of the place, on account of that asking price.
Still, it's such fun to peek inside. I love that feature; pretty sure it's saved RE agents lots of time and trouble. Never thought about looking on FB marketplace. You KNOW I'm going there!

I love it - but $2300 to rent a two bedroom. And all that shrubbery was in front of it - amazing.

I didn't even know FB had houses listed...I could really go down the internet rabbit hole with that!

Looks like the house still has a lot of jungle surrounding it, can't wait to hear what you see when you do a drive by.

I enjoy driving around looking at house. I also like to watch some of the real estate shows on Netflix.

Love the old"grandma" type architecture and the color fits Florida.
I love snooping at homes for sale and that number is what houses around here are renting for too. I sure could never afford that.
finally got a new post up on my blog.

Gorgeous house make-over. So much nicer than apartment living and Tiggers love jungles so I'd like it even before the make-over. xxx Mr T

Flipping the switch was mind blowing..haha
We had flipped it so many times that we didn't know what was on and what was off after a while. Still, we should have done it ONE MORE TIME !!!
Worked real hard on cleaning the house ...more than a lick and a promise since son and family will be here for about 5 days.
Still have to put fresh linens on the guest beds and make sure there are enough towels for the 4 of them.
Now I have pulled a muscle kind of above my hip and I can hardly straighten up. Wearing a brace to see if that helps..
Old Age..Blech....
