This all started when I read the quote on my peppermint tea bag. I love weeds! Always have, I rather have a bouquet of wild weeds than have a vase of roses.
The only difference in a flower and a weed is judgement. Wayne Dyer
Me too!! If weeds were hard to grow, they would be prized! And to me, there are no weeds, only wildflowers. I have said that is what I would want on my coffin, not any cultivated flowers. I like all flowers though, but wildflowers have a special place in my heart. Your next to last photo is my favorite, it is beautiful.
Well, I guess I had better go out in our backyard and pick a bouquet for you.. We are "graced" with so many "weeds". Perhaps by net week we will finally finish our jungle. So much work and then we have leg cramps all night. Sue
Guess what I was on Pause on my account..don't know how that happened. Had to change my password and finally get back in. So now UNKNOWN is me photowannabe Sue
You did a beautiful job, so delicate and lovely. I agree with you and the quote about weeds. This year my land has been covered in blue and yellow flowers, just gorgeous ones, which techincally probably would be called weeds.
Aren't dandelion seedheads an iconic image? We love your variations. Reading Ginny's comment about flowers on coffin, reminded me of someone who gave me some plants for my garden. Her mother had recently died and the mothers friends supplied the flowers, every one of them from plants the mother had shared with the friends from her own garden. They even ensured they included bits that could go into the daughter's garden so her plants came indirectly from her mother's former garden. Nice link don't you think. Certainly a tribute to a lover of garden.

These are really cool. I love weeds also. Like Ginny said there are no weeds, just wildflowers.
Hello,
They are all beautiful images, lovely creations.
Take care, have a happy weekend.
I sure like a lot of 'weeds"...so since I like them are they now considered a flower?

Hugs Cecilia
Because I love dandelions, I LOVE that quote!
I, too, would much rather have a vase of wildflowers/weeds than roses.
Great job, making them feel beautiful if only in art form.
And all weeds are wildflowers :) I love them too, and I always enjoy your PicMonkey creations.

Awesome! Love the quotes. I always enjoyed blowing on a dandelion.
We think you monkey very well:). And you are correct - many weeds are very pretty.

Love the artistry you've achieved with your fabulous "wild" flowers...
