Me too!! If weeds were hard to grow, they would be prized! And to me, there are no weeds, only wildflowers. I have said that is what I would want on my coffin, not any cultivated flowers. I like all flowers though, but wildflowers have a special place in my heart. Your next to last photo is my favorite, it is beautiful.

You did a beautiful job, so delicate and lovely. I agree with you and the quote about weeds. This year my land has been covered in blue and yellow flowers, just gorgeous ones, which techincally probably would be called weeds.

Aren't dandelion seedheads an iconic image? We love your variations. Reading Ginny's comment about flowers on coffin, reminded me of someone who gave me some plants for my garden. Her mother had recently died and the mothers friends supplied the flowers, every one of them from plants the mother had shared with the friends from her own garden. They even ensured they included bits that could go into the daughter's garden so her plants came indirectly from her mother's former garden. Nice link don't you think. Certainly a tribute to a lover of garden.
