All in the same boat.

Below is the hilarious comment my friend Madeline emailed to me about the post about my finding Beaus egg in the cabinet, not the fridge.

to me

We are all in the same boat.  Yesterday morning I knew I had to get up and take a shower because the nurse was coming to dress my leg wounds.  As I am puttering around I think, what day is it?  The nurse comes Mon. And Wed.  The cleaning lady also comes on Wed.  sooooo....what day is it???

Did I go to church yesterday????  Who knows?????  I am stumbling around trying to figure this out???  After a period of time, I thought, dummy, touch your cell phone.  It will tell you what day it is!!!  Like magic, it told me it is Mon.!!!  So...  I was in church yesterday!!!  Now I feel better!  Off to take a shower and wait for my nurse!!!๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜

As I read her email I remembered the song I heard song on the car radio Saturday and it is sooooo true. Click Here if the video doesn't play.

Even if you don't care for country music, the graphics are super, and you can read the words the music on mute.

It's a good song. And the graphics remind me of the awesome edits you do on your blog. You could do this, and probably even better!

We danced along but we changed the words in a couple of places! When someone is really broke we say they haven't got a pot to p**s in, so we guessed we were all p....g in the same pot! Gotta go our battery is running out. Xxx Mr T

I loved this video for all sorts of reasons - simple lyrics but from the heart; simple earwigging tune; the artwork is fabulous! YAM xx

Hello,
I like the song and the Zac Brown Band.
We are all in the same boat, I use my phone to remind me of the day too.
Take care, have a great day!

I see this. I'm okay if everything goes along as usual but if my daughter changes the days she comes up it all goes out of the window and I get to thinking its the weekend when its not. lol
Who cares! just poddle along and enjoy the day. lol

What a great little song. I've never heard it but it was quite a toe tapper.

My goodness...that is the BEST song and neatest video! I'm going to listen to that again and again. HOW TRUE, if we could all just realize that. Who cares what someone else believes or where they live...or how slow they talk (me)! We're all in the same boat and we should help each other! Thank you SO much for sharing this! Lots of hugs, Diane

I really like Zac Brown. His songs are about everyday folks
Hugs and thanks to Madeline for the funny.
I'm to ride in that same boat. LOL Stopping to think ok what did I do yesterday. There are certain days I do certain things ALWAYS so that helps.
Hugs Cecilia

Love the Zac Brown band and theirs are perfect lyrics.
Reading what Madeline wrote makes me feel better about myself. A little. I used to think the "what day is this?" only happened to other people, but nope. Even keeping a calendar at the ready isn't much help.

PS - Gotta share what my young (61 y/o) posted on FB yesterday: "Friday has been canceled. I started the shower, went to the closet to pick out clothes, got dressed, came back to the bathroom ... shower still running."

That is still so funny...and it is good to hear that other people do this...not just me.

I loved that song - I like Zac Brown - I am listening to Christian music now but I love country too. And we are all in the same boat.

Terrific graphics and song with so much truth in it.
I'm right there with the rest of you..What day is it?? Where did I go yesterday? Brother...if I didn't have my calendar right in front of me on my table I would be in big trouble..
Yesterday went well at Lynne's. We went out first thing when I got there and then the temps. soared so we came in, ate late lunch and snoozed the rest of my time there.

It seems like it is becoming easier to get days mixed up.Oh well, we usually figure it out eventually.

I think we are all rowing up the same river, using the same paddles and in the same boat ;) Sweet email from Madeline :)
