Dollar Tree Decor

I bought the 3 stakes above and the plaid tree below at the Dollar tree, everything is a dollar or was and now 1.47 which is good for me.

I also got the Joy sign and now I have our Token Christmas on front porch and in the ferns. We have not decorated outside in about 8 years now
I don't mind putting out the lights but the last time they stayed until the end of Februarybecause I could not face taking them down
All Done for $7.35

OhMyGosh, you have shared a great idea for the front porch. I think the plaid Christmas tree is charming. I have been at a loss for something that shows we are in the spirit of the holidays. Can't hang wreaths on our front doors. I am going to purchase a fern (love ferns) and hopefully I will find the plaid tree and the dragonfly at our Dollar Store. If not I am sure I can find something that will work. Maybe even some little white lights on the fern. Thank you... Sometimes (most times) I need a little inspiration.

Lovely MS. They are perfectly placed each and ever one and the bench pillows are very pretty.

Whimsical and wonderful! Just goes to show, you don't have to spend $$$ to 'dress' your home for the holidays.

We've never put up outside lights, but I totally get your reluctance to take all the decorations down. We always leave ours up to the Epiphany, and I still pout when the time comes.

You have done a lot more than me...I am ashamed of myself.

Love your bench with the pretty cushions. Perfection for the minimalist in you.
Love the plaid tree too.
You rocked the decorations!!!
Didn't get the tree up yesterday so now the pressure is on. Company here tomorrow night. Been raining on and off for several days so lights aren't going to make it on the outside of the house..actually Dave really isn't up to climbing the ladder this year either..It is what it is...

I think it was lovely and elegant. I got my porch decorations from the $1.25 Dollar Tree now - with some $5 and $3 dollar things sold there now too. Everything changes/

The ribbon on our tree and the decos on the tree outside our apt are from the Dollar Tree, which is now $1.25 for most items, but there's no sales tax here in NH, which is nice. Some of the other decos outside our apt entry are also from the DOllar Tree and have been used for several years so were really a bargain!

I love the way the colorful pillows brighten up the white bench.

Cats love benches because they give them higher ground that makes them feel safe from evil predators, (like the neighbor's poodle), and it gives them a better view on all this exciting activity of jumping grasshoppers and squirrels climbing trees. Also, they have plenty of space to stretch.

Everything is so pretty. Do you have a Dollar General near you? They still have dollar items though never billed themselves as a dollar store. They have all kinds of prices. Always did. I enjoy that store.

Yes decorating can become a chore as we get older and not altogether necessary if you don't have children visiting. The simple but lovely decorations are enough. Have you got your lovely lights on inside?

I think your Dollar Store must be like our UK Poundland selling most things for £1 sterling. I must go explore our store in the high street.

Your porch is so cute! The plaid tree is adorable in the fern, I wouldn't have thought to do that.

Those are so cute and it makes the house look festive. We have nothing ever outside. Mark won't do it. We used to have our reindeer out in front and then people were stealing things. We moved them to the back yard but they have since gotten way to old. I miss them.
