Blame this post on Myra, part 2

I did NOT watche the eclispe, but I did take the above shot of it as seen on CNN.
The rest of this post is my Eclipse Art created with the aid of a toilet paper roll.
So much more fun than the sun/moon war.

This project started with blogger friend Myra showing a photo of her looking through a toilet paper roll in her Post Here.  Part 1 yesterday was my take on the subject. One thing leads to another in the Mad Mind of MadSnapper and my simple TP photos below are what I took, Above are the artistic things I did with them.

I could not get a photo using the cell phone, I used by small point and shoot and stuck the zoom lens inside the roll. the collage below is out of the camera. the black lines appeared when I turned the roll in my hand.

Come You All! let me see some TP Roll Photos from you! READY AIM FIRE.... POST IT

this is my kitchen cabinet TP Roll shot, as you can see, I got nothing and was unable to make a moon any better than this..

This is so cool! And my fav is the one in color. I am going to try this, though it may be tricky holding the big camera in one hand and the roll in the other.

I enjoyed seeing the total eclipse images on TV. They had some beautiful photos. You are having fun with the toilet paper roll. The colorful image is my favorite. Take care, enjoy your day and happy weekend.

This is hilarious! I hadn't seen Myra's post with the toilet paper roll so had to go back and check it out, and how you got to here from there I am not sure, but at least you are having fun with it! LOL. These pictures are pretty cool! I have been doing some things with some toilet paper rolls also, but nothing like this. I will have to share some pictures in my next post, which I don't know when that will be, maybe later today. I love your sense of humor and imagination! Thank you for being a smile producer early this morning! Have a lovely day!

Oh my gosh, the TP roll photos are so fun. I'll have to try it!

I did see the eclipse and LOVED it. That said, I got to see it from my front stoop and to me, that's a win! No crowds, no long ride home. Just peaceful.

Well this sounds like a fun experiment. I think I just threw a tp roll away yesterday. I like the art pictures that you made from the originals. Who knew so much fun could be had with a toilet paper roll.

wow ... Wow ... WOW!!!

Your first b/w images make me think I'm at the bottom of a well looking up and hoping someone will throw me a rope ladder. The last one, I'm crawling out from inside a concrete drain pipe like we used to do as little kids.

Love your creativity!

You crack me up Sandra...
I guess this experiment is next on my agenda..
Raining today and only 45F at 10:35 this morning. No wonder I'm feeling chilly sitting here cruising the blogs.
After such a crazy, hard working and patience wearing week, I'm kinda glad for some down time.

You certainly had the most unique eclipse view ever, Sandra, that’s for sure. And no special glasses were needed.

You have now made a simple toilet roll a piece of art. Impressive! You made me smile from ear to ear too. Thank you much!

Well I do think you two could be dangerous together! If closer - lol.
That was cool of both of you.

We didn't try to watch the Eclipse either but we did watch the weather channel as they went from state to state. Those are very interesting photos.
