If you guessed I went touring and snapping for Spanish Homes, you are right. I visited my friend Jackie and when I left turned left and not right to go home and found a mother lode of Spanish homes.
One street had 8 in two blocks.
this is a view of that street. I found stunning ones and not so stunning. Coming Soon to a blog near you. These two street views are thanks to Google maps and screen print

The second one looks like a mini Spanish missionary.
I like them! I'm glad you went. 😊

Making the most of an outing opportunity... well done that gal! YAM xx
You have found a whole new way to occupy your time.
You did find some pretty houses.
They are colorful!
Take care, enjoy your day!
How fun. You found some good ones.
I am going to.enjoy this...
I can see another fun house tour coming, Sandra, and all from just sitting at the computer at least on my part.
Great houses and fabulous settings - sunshine, flat palm trees (like fans) - it is a bit like Singapore (with better houses).
THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE PATH NOT TOWARD HOME AND SNAPPING LIKE CRAZY FOR US

Interesting buildings - enjoying the tour :)
I loved the second one so much. I bet there is a lot of Spanish culture down there! I enjoy your snapping!
Wahoo! Such pretty architecture. I can't wait to see more!!
You did find the mother lode. I do like the rustic brick red of the homes.
Thanks for the tour..
I have got to get out and pull a few weeds today.
Our jungle is getting out of hand.
At least the weather is nice today. Clear for our very partial eclipse...

#'s 1 and 2 are my favorites!
Then of course, the stingy part of me wonders how much $ those homeowners have to spend on paint. Like adobe homes, those walls look really thick; I'm guessing they help keep the interior cool.
So many groovy houses. Neato keano.
I love interesting architecture and older homes. You have found some great ones. I haven't been keeping up lately, so I need to go back and see what else you've been looking at! You live in an interesting area! I don't like the newer cookie cutter style homes that we see in so many Florida neighborhoods. I prefer something unique and more interesting like this or vintage styles. Fun fun fun. Thanks for sharing.
I have to say that it looks like a lovely community. The homes are so pretty.
Hi Sandra :=)
I like the awnings on the first house. In your climate it makes sense to keep your rooms cool with the shade.
More great photos! They are all very interesting.
