See inside and outside after remodel by investors. It is for sale HERE for those of you who are curious like I am.
these are my photos homes and all need a little TLC . You can see they look very similar to each other and to the one that is for sale. The street they are on is called White Bear Subdivision, and per the legal records of the house above they are framed and stucco homes, built in 1925, and are not the thick walled homes seen in the western part of our country.
this one has been remodeled and sold and is on the Good list.

I'm afraid I would rather have a house with thicker walls, if possible, and overhangs or porches for shade. But they are interesting to look at, and I love the way realtors show pictures of the insides. That was neat when Kaitlin and Torben bought their house in Massachusetts.

They are pretty houses! I think I mentioned before I would not want to live in one. Take care, enjoy your day and have a happy week ahead.
I have to say that first one that they remodeled and put up for sale looks like the front of a business rather than a home. I tried to look through the pictures of it but my computer is being fussy today. Holy smokes on the price of it too. The estimated monthly payment is probably double what I take home in a month.

I would always assume that houses like that would have thick walls, especially in Florida’s steamy climate.
Any houses with yards/gardens in the back? That's what we're on the hunt for. So far, nothing good on the market in the area.
Cute houses, but I can't get over the prices! Yikes! Florida is definitely not an affordable place to retire anymore! Not even up here where we live in the sticks! Prices are going up all the time and people keep coming! I'm thankful we moved here when it was still an affordable option...but I hope so many people moving into the area don't ruin the peaceful country vibe. That is getting harder and harder to find anymore! Thank you for sharing the "good, bad and ugly" . Fun stuff!
Looking at houses is such fun. We do that here quite often. My first house purchase (1976) had the stucco exterior. Not a fan. It didn't hold up. Kept falling off the chicken wire or whatever it was that the plaster was stuck to. It's also very difficult to keep clean. My favorite style now is Farm House with large windows, overhangs and porches. Those are great for the Southeast Georgia summers. Let in lots of light and are very airy.

The 'things' sticking up over each of the windows in the below photo are interesting. AS I toured the inside, I noticed that it appeared to be bars over the windows.
I'm a bit surprised the realtor didn't suggest they tidy up a bit inside so that buyers could see themselves living there.

I checked it out Sandra, and I can't afford it. LOL Gosh they really cleaned up the yard - think of what the others will look like after some clean up!
I like the ones with more greenery - even if it does look a bit ragged. The cleared yard of that redeveloped first one must be absolutely scorching in Florida.
Thank you so much for the links...this was the first I had a chance to look. I like the first except for that one wall in the kitchen. It was pretty upclose but just too busy for me. The second one I loved the back yard...it looked like there was room to move around in it. It was hard for me to picture the inside with all that was already there....I think someone had kids!
I like the remodel on the first house...but can't imagine paying that much $$ for so little square footage.
The link wouldn't let me in without giving too much information and I think I have the ad blocker on so I couldn't see the inside. These homes are still cheaper than ours in Northern CA.
Fun stuff to look at though.

I'm seriously stunned at these prices! They didn't ask me, but I loathe what they did to House #1 ... it looks like a blank slate of poster board. The floors, however, and arches are nice. I'm in love with that olden glass doorknob.

Mom agrees with Yam aout the eyelashes. The houses are not her style, but she is fascinated with the big old trees. We live in an area with mostly young trees, not like what Mom was accustomed to in New England.

They are interesting but not my cup of tea. Sonya and Bernie have put their house on the market and have nice photos of it on a real estate sight.
They remind me of the homes we saw in New Mexico!
The house for sale looks lovely. They did a nice job on the inside. I do miss the grass.
Interesting to see. I do like those Spanish-style homes.
