Draw Down with Ann

Most of you will have seen my Copy Cat, Copy Cat drawings, inspired by Ann of Ann's SnapEditScrap blog. She sent this challenge over FB messenger, and we decided to have a Draw-Down and post our copy of this challenge on the same day...

That day is Today!

Ann said she tossed her first try, I tossed my first 4 tries and then stayed with the above. This is a lot harder than it looks. Those of you who know me, know I can't just do ONE....

this one I simply Snapperized the first one, and liked it  a tad better

the next one, I painted it

And Because I could, I took the painting into my phone app, insta-toon uses software to make it NEON. I love neon. The top 3, I drew them and painted them with my digital pen, on the ipad.

You did really, really well!! It looks very hard even though it is a simple looking image.

They just get better and better but I do like the Picasso effect in the first one.

You are coming along very well, and developing a distinctive style. I think this image should by called, “The Girl at the OK Corral.” She has a western, gunslinger attitude to her. I think next you should do Marie Antoinette to start your “Vie de Paris” portfolio! Keep on having fun.

Take care, enjoy your day!

Well done. This one looked easy to draw until I actually tried it. I'm trying to decide which one of these I like the best and it might be the painted one. We'll have to do this again sometime but maybe with an easier drawing.

What fun! Well done. I wouldn't even try. I'd have to have a stencil of some kind for it even to remotely resemble what it's supposed to be.
Love. 😊

I enjoyed the challenge you two had and both of you did a really beautiful job. How fun this must have been. I think that sometimes we are our worst critics and fail to see the true talents that we have. You ladies did a fantastic job with this drawing.
