Way back on Sept 25, 2024, the day before Helene side swiped us and crushed Georgia, Linda Chapman had a birthday, and I fell in love with the little planter that someone mailed her, she doesn't know who, and I don't either. I saved the photo because I felt the desire to draw it. I did not like what I drew, and it sat until today in the failed folder.
I painted this on iPad and gave up and called it a fail, 3 day power outage and saved it and forgot about it until now. I stumbled on it today, 11/4 and popped it into my beloved PicMonkey and this is how it ended. For you my dear Friend Linda, because I forgot your birthday.
Happy Belated Birthday, and thanks for being a friend since 2009 and us Virgo's need to stick together. This is Tabitha in case you can't recognize her. |
The reason for the Santa Doodle. I started playing with the red brush, then I added green, and thought wow, this would make good wrapping paper. Next I doodled Santa and HO HO HO, this is what happened. remember, I was bored silly in a house without power..
Below are my
Cockamamie Doodle Do's, no copy cat doodles here, just from my Mad Mind

Your art is always so much fun!
It’s not a fail at all. It’s just transition on the way to perfection.
I like them all. I don’t know if I could do as well as you. Very creative!
I do not think any of those are failures. I can't believe you have a failure file. You did good. I am friends with Linda too. You are very creative.
Your doodles are fabulous - I love the ATTITUDE of the character in the last one.
Your "doodles" are so cute! And fun. I like the copy of the planter. Doesn't look like a fail to me. Very well done.
I do hope we're done with the storms for awhile. This bunch wore me slap out.
Love ya.
I’m honored!!!!
Turns out the planter was from my brother Buster!!!

That planter is adorable! I hate that y'all were without power so long but sure appreciate the entertaining art you created. Viola!
A drawing is only a fail if you don’t do it!
You did a good job on the second planter. Enjoyed all of them. I like how you kept busy.
Your doodles always make me smile, and that's because I can just picture you working away on them and whistling while you work, (maybe) or humming a little tune, and fine tuning your pictures, and they make you happy so they make us happy too. They are cute and special and fun. I love the planter lady one. It's very pretty!! I'm glad you share them all with us. It brightens our days!!
I like them all. You sell yourself short. The drawing of Linda's planter is far from being a fail. You did amazing and the cat was perfect.
