I bought two of the lanterns to use during Hurricane Milton after Helene came and I needed more light. I like it because it hangs from my elbow and I can walk around the yard with Beau and see my feet. I tried to show you how it hangs on my elbow and failed (try taking a selfie of your elbow)
Todays Christmas Joy photos were taken of the poinsettia around the oil lamp on red and made the poinsettia glow.
WARNING! strange things may appear on this blog. I HAVE NOTHING TO BLOG ABOUT... in the past 2 weeks, I put SEVEN miles on my car. Walmart and Publix. I last bought gas.fuel.petrol, 2 months ago.
I found this Dec 11th post in drafts and I was about to delete it but thought, just post it...
Doesn't matter if its dumb. Right? Right? In fact I have a few crazy things in drafts and they might show up HERE..

You know, right after you bought the lantern, I did too. This is gorgeous and I never thought to take photos with the different color! I haven't really touched it much, now I will get it out and play with it.
It’s not dumb, I love it! Everything looks beautiful and I am glad you shared.
Red lamps are useful to more than just old-fashioned film developers. Red light doesn't mess with your night vision so your eyes immediately adjust to darkness when you turn it off. Image up some designs for that remaining fence panel and see if you can photo manipulate them onto pictures of the fence.

Nothing mad about using up what's available to you... That's called thriftiness! YAM xx
Absolutely right. I'm in the same boat now. I don't have anything in drafts though.
I love that last picture of the poinsettia.
There's always something to blog about - your just proved it.
*you*
Everyone’s life and circumstances differ, Sandra, and you have certainly been through experiences many of us have not and shared all in your posts . Don’t be hard on yourself when things are on a quieter pace.
It’s your blog, your pictures, your choice. You just show whatever you want. Even a lamp swinging from your elbow if you can manage it!
That's not dumb! I'm still interested in your posts no matter what is discussed or shown ... or not shown. I apologize for being so quiet on the 'puter. I think I'm a bit tired of social media period, even FaceBook except for a few daily photos & comments. ✨
I like the lantern - prefect for if the power goes out and for taking Beau out too!
Your Christmas joy photos are very pretty!
No apologies needed I am in the same predicament. Very thankful my Feline niece and nephew send me fun emails that I can post.
I haven't taken a REAL walk outside since Nov 25. First of Dec was wet and cold. Then a months ago today we both started feeling like we were catching something which we did the CEC.
So I say as long as we hear from you everything is game for posting. I have 2 lanterns like that too
Hugs Cecilia
Not dumb at all! I'm still not (mentally) over Christmas decor. You made me LOL about taking a selfie of my elbow -- wish I'd have been there to see you trying!
PS - I'm at a loss what to post, as well. Somedays I feel like the most boring soul on the planet.
I liked this, Sandra. Because it is you! I wonder what to post sometimes too.
That looks like a handy lantern.
I especially like the picture that shows the pretty crystal on the shelf above.
Hey, that's a cool lantern and nice photos too. Just blog about whatever pops in your mind, we're always happy to see you!
You are very good at making something interesting out of simple things. Just using your mind and creativity and voila! You have a fun and happy post that we all enjoy! I love the lantern, and I love the pictures. Sometimes I take pictures of stupid stuff and think maybe someday it will become a famous blog post about nothing! Remember, Jerry Seinfeld's show was about "nothing"! And it was a hit for how many years??? I never watched it until it was in the rerun stage, and loved it. But they said over and over it was a show about nothing. Just life...well, their lives were a bit crazy and not recommended for normal adults, but still...crazy stuff is what people love! So there! Just be you. Don't put on airs or pretenses. You are all you need to be, and we love you! So there!!
We love your posts, it doesn’t matter about the timing, because we love YOU!
At least you are posting...I am wondering if I ever will again.
