NEW COLOR.................................NO, I DO NOT NEED A HARNESS, I IS A GOOD BOY! Mama says the harness has a handle, that allows her to hold me if needed. In 4 years she only had to hold me once on a walk. A tiny Chihuahua thought he was a lion and ran off his porch to attack me, I just stared, mama put her hand on the handle and backed me slowly up, while holding up her hand, saying Stay to the tiny dog that I could have swallowed without chewing. The owner was trying to capture it and all was well...Mama says I have zero aggressive genes and love all living things.
PS from Mama.. it would come in handy if he did start to chase a coon/possum or walk out in the street. a short handle for a big dog is easier that 80 pounds at the end of a leash. If you know me, you know I cover all What Ifs.

| we all like the new harness, its small and light and easy to slip over my head and I walk like a Prince, so says Mama. I heard her tell Daddy she was embarrassed at how my old rig looked at the ER.. we hope they never see this rig. |

You are such a good dog Beau and how interesting about the poo? Love your new leash. It will be easier for Mama to hold you and protect you from small angry dogs.
It is pretty, Beau! And now you are royalty. I can see how this would work so much better than a leash to keep you close to Mama! And I remember this song so well, from before you were even born.
Pretty snazzy new gear. Poor Gibbs has had the same collar for far too long. Even worse, his collar, harness and leash don't match.

I think purple suits your furs very well, Beau boy! I had a similar rig for angel Jade (we called it her bra...) and it was definitely a good way to walk with her. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

Love the purple collar! And Beau has developed Pica. Ask your Vet what can be done. It's something lacking in their diet...But I can't remember what.

A handle is useful, especially for older dogs who might have unsteady legs. It gives them confidence to be helped along.
We all sure hope the Doggie ER never sees that rig, too! Lucy was eating poop along with stones. I started feeding her more and she stopped, at least for now. We'll see what happens when we start taking more frequent walks in the sprint. In the meantime, she's enjoying putting on a pound or two. She's a gentle girl too, but when a neighbor bully-type dog escaped the fence last spring and attacked her and Xena she defended herself and us. I was proud of her!

that little dog needed an attitude adjustment...Toto the mighty mini once charged a horse....YES a horse. I had his leash in my hand as I opened the back door. Out he went. He approached from the back so the horse had no clue what was nipping at his hind legs. Toto's dumb luck kept him from getting kicked into another county.

I think the poop must have undigested food in it and Beau smells it and then wants to eat it.
