The Last Gate Standing

AFTER MILTON THE FENCE WAS MISSING 2 SECTION

AFTER THE BOBCAT AND 4 MEN REMOVED THE TREE AND ALL THE HIBICUS BUSHES AND 3 SECTIONS OF FENCE

IT LOOKED LIKE THIS AFTER I REMOVED THE ONE SECTION YOU SEE MISSING AND FROM THIS AND

THIS

TO THIS

IT TOOM ME A WHILE BUT I CLEARED IT. NOW WHAT TO DO WITH THE GATE. MILTON TOOK DOWN SOME OF IT, TREE PEOPLE TOOK DOWN SOME AND I REMOVED THE REST DOWN TO THE GATE .I am thinking I will plant a purple passion plant and cover it with flowers for the butterflies.

To cover it with plants to attract butterflies seems like the perfect solution to me. It will be a gift from the hurricane in place of the misery it has caused you so far.

Hello,
I think it is a great idea to cover the gate with plants and flowers for the butterflies. It will look beautiful. Take care, Happy Friday! Have a great weekend.

The butterflies and bees will appreciate a new flowering shrub and it will look so pretty.

About the gate, that's my philosophy too: when life leaves a mess, decorate it with flowers. I'm anxious for Spring to start decorating the messes Hurricane Helene left. Flowers, especially vines, will be a good choice I think.
I like your new header. Looks nice.
Blessings. ☃️

You had so much work to do because of Milton. I think your idea of planting a purple passion plant sounds perfect.

I am late today. I took Bryan to the doctor. He has a nasty sinus infection. We are waiting for the pharmacy to call to tell us they are ready.
I say you need to take you iPad out to the gate I bet you could create a lovely piece of art

That’s what I would do to the gate. I like to reuse wooden fence or gates into garden art. Planting some flowers that attract butterflies, humming birds and bees would be lovely.

That sounds like an excellent plan. Bonus that it will attract butterflies.

I agree with David, it is the least Helen can do. You have been stellar throughout this. Hats off to you! Love your new header too!

I think covering it with a flowering plant/vine is a perfect idea. I want to see it when it is covered with blooms and butterflies.
