In my IBS newsletter, Heather said, powdered peanut butter is delish but not good for people with Slow digestion and diverticulitis/IBS because it doesn't dissolve, which makes it great for fiber, but can cause constipation.
Who knew fiber could do that.
She said the best protein for shakes is Organic Brown Rice powder because it is soluble fiber and can't get caught in the diverticuli.
I waved my mouse wand at.Amazon, it came at 4 am the next day and I ruined my blueberry fruit shake by putting 1 scoop in it.
It had to be dumped. turns out the Scoop is 1/4 cup. Ov Vey!.
I narrowed it down to drinkable by using 1/2 tsp discovered I needed a container because the jar was heavy, stored in bottom of the cabinet, PLUS my hands will not turn that large lid.
I visited the thrift store to buy a 2nd walker and a container to store protein powder in and came home with this adorable jar.
It holds a cup of protein and a tiny spoon next to the bullet. I also sprinkle the powder on dressing for salads, just about anything I eat, to get extra protein to replace meat.
OCD KICKED IN and I spent 15 minutes finding the right place to sit the cute jar.
I found the Fennel Tea and Jar flat against the wall made me crazy, so moved the jar out an inch or so until my OCD said. That's It!
do you move things around until they LOOK RIGHT? 😁😁😁😁
I was so excited over the grape covered jar, and thinking wow, what a deal for $2.00 and turned it upside down and the scan bar said MADE FOR DOLLAR TREE! (that is the store that sells everything for a dollar, or used to)
What???? I paid $2 for a 1-dollar item. I still love it more than $2.00
I AM GIGGLING OUT LOUD, I JUST REREAD THIS AND HAD A THOUGHT.
Can I write this story in a Short Version?
Yep!
Now you have the LONG and the
Below is The Short of it by The Mad One.
MadSnapper bought a HUGE jar of protein powder, and her hands could not turn the lid, or lift the heavy jar from the cabinet.
she bought a cute jar from the thrift store and found just the right place to put it...
PS: This post has been in my drafts since April 15th and I thought today was WORDY WEDNESDAY

🤣🤣🤣 nice jar though
No no no! dollar Tree has been selling things for over $5.00 for a long time now! And the prices keep going up. So you still get a really good deal. The jar is beautiful! I will throw out my powdered peanut butter! I move things around all the time!! Trying to get perfect, but doing it so much that I totally lose my perspective
that would happen to me too... but anyway I love this jar too, it is super beautiful...

That jar is worth every cent. The value of not just holding your powder - but getting a great wee blog post and sharing with your adoring fans!!! YAM xx
Yay for thrift store treasures, those stores have been our "go to" for a zallion years for everything except "undies plus, well, ya know". LOVE Thrifting.
Hello, Sandra
I love the cute jar. Dollar Tree prices have gone up over the years.
I hope the powder help your tummy. Take care, have a wonderful day!
Enjoyed reading this and smiled at the short version. Interesting about that powder. I do like your grape jar and yes I am just like you about finding the right spot.
But if you only wrote the short version we wouldn’t have all the fun reading through the step-by-step account with its twists and turns and glimpses into your mind. The jar is lovely, and even if you had paid five bucks it would still be lovely. I wonder what you’ll be bringing home next time?
The long version is fun and much more interesting to read than the abbreviated one. Pretty jar.
I have been in thrift stores before and have found items that had a $1 price tag on them from Dollar General but were priced higher than that.
At least you are happy with your purchase so it makes it worth the $2
It's cute! It really looks vintage. I like your placement too!
I can't believe I'm the only one who feels it necessary to move inanimate objects! Okay, yes. I almost spit my coffee about the Dollar Tree reference. It looks far more expensive, and darn attractive, too. I love the adorable lid!
LOL....I would ALWAYS rather have the long versions of your stories! Love the jar!
such a cute jar....My OCD does the same thing!! it is as if my mind knows the exact spot to place something...if it's a quarter inch off, my OCD kicks in.
Cute jar, and also a good idea to get a smaller container that's easier to handle. I do the same kind of thing with various other stuff that I use often, when I find the original package to heavy or difficult to handle. And yes, I also move things around until I get them "right"... ;-)
What a pretty jar...now I must take a trip down the road to that very store
Hugs cecilia
I love that jar too and yes I move things around until they look right.
Have a fabulous day and rest of the week, Sandra. A big hug to you and lots of scritches to Beau. ♥
That jar is a nice thrift store find! Hugs from all of us.
Interesting. Sorry it didn't work in your shake. That jar is really cute. Yes, OCD can be an issue at times like that. So it sounds like the powder is working now. Yes, that was still a good price for the jar. That's interesting about your short version too.
Sandra ... you are a gem. I love how you explain things, don't ever do the short version...boring...
That jar is adorable and perfect for you. Most of the time I can't find the "right" place for something. I just know its not the way it should be.
Right now I am staring at a beautiful vase I found while pricing our garage sale stuff. I said I want to keep this. Its so pretty. I plunked it down by my window and have been staring at it ever since. Wrong place, wrong placement, but where does it go. Seems there is some Blog Fodder in the making for me.
Love your "Wordy Wednesday"
Sue
How'd you know I move things around until "they look just right"!!? 😁🤣 Drives Steve coo coo for coco puffs, I'm sure. 🤣
Love the Wordy Wednesday. You're so cute.
I have been plagued with constipation since I was a small child and learned about fiber hurt my IBS only recently. I'm pretty much a carnivore now. All those weird problems have disappeared, including blood sugar spikes, etc. My health improved so much. Eating fiber is another of those government lies we've been taught since Big Business took over the Gov in the 1920's or so. In fact the so called "Food Pyramid" is completely a lie. I never knew all that! Wow.
Love ya kuz'n. Have a wonderful day.
As long as it does what you need, it doesn't matter where you put it or whether we get the long or short story. We hope it works for you. BTW, our Dad is a bit OCD like that too:)

You are funny with the two stories, short and long. What a hoot. Jar is cute. Yes, fiber can make it so people can't poop, even those who don't have IBS. If someone eats tooooo much fiber and not enough water, boom. Them pipes can get clogged.
I put 2 tsp fiber in my coffee and that’s all I need. For me it’s been a game changer! 🤣 You know you’re old when we’re all talking about fiber, and poop.
That jar is adorable! Prices sure aren’t what they used to be, but it’s still a great find. Hope the powder works well for you. Wishing you a lovely day! 😊
I love the jar, it was still a bargain!
