Living in Lamp Light

continued from prior post Living by the light, by the light of my cute little lamps

Before I served Bob his favorite breakfast for NOW (it changes once a week) of Grits Egg and Cheese, cooked in one bowl, served with 2 white bread only toast, buttered heavy, I madly snapped the cozy look of our living room/kitchen which is now where we spend our life.

I flitted here,
I flitted there,
I move those lamps,
to each space the counter could spare.

They lamps are cordless and light,
easy to move and oh so bright

Dim them down, brighten them up,
move them to the table where breakfast we sup.

While dashing here and there, snapping like mad,
I noticed there were more photos to be had.
If you want to guess what thhat something is,
the clue to reflect on is this.

reflections of light... to be continued

My word, and now you have become the poet laureate of Florida. Amazing!

Even with a hospital bed in the living room, you've certainly managed to make it look both stylish and cosy!!! :)

Ha ha! I love your poem as you flit here and there, sharing light everywhere! So clever and yes, it all looks so nice and cozy and welcoming! I am happy that you have this new little adventure to capture in photos and prose for us to enjoy. Have a beautiful day my friend. You are a very special lady, and we enjoy spending this time with you. (((HUGS))) and prayers every day.

Those little lamps sure do light things up nicely. I like your little lighted tree in the living room too.

I love the lamp light! It's so cozy. I'm thinking those lamps would be great to have in a power outage too.
Great poem!

Portable cordless lamps are such a good idea. You can have the light exactly where you want it.

Cozy, yes! This reminds me how my mother loathed overhead lighting, especially in our bedrooms.
If I understand your challenge, I'm guessing your next reflection is either (a) the glowing monitor screen (far left) or (b) the reflection seen in that water bottle.

In the winter months I add a small lamp on my kitchen counter because it’s so cozy. I love all those spaces with your new cozy lamps. I’m going to look on Amazon for these lamps.

They will be even better with the shorter daylight hours to come. Love how neat and pretty your home is. Hugs to you both, Diane

I'm going to use the same word as others have. Cozy ... I think it adds Peace to your "living space".
Your home is as neat as a pin. You sure don't want to see ours at the moment. eBay stuff that isn't selling is a real painful clutter. Both Dave and I have slowed down and things feel a bit more daunting. Nothing as difficult as you but it affects us all the same.
Love your photos and just keep snapping.
Prayers continuing
Sue

It makes my heart so happy to see you!! And know you are posting! And I just love looking into people's homes! I like getting a better closeup look at your kitchen. And the light tree in the living room is fabulous, and you know I WANT it!! What is behind the door behind Bob? His bed seems to be in the best place for it.

Those lights are really working out well. I'm so glad you got them. I'm thinking maybe it has to do with the head on the counter.

Very nice! Now I feel inspired to up-date our old lamps. Today, Steve made a new one for me that harbors a small strip of LED lighting on the back. Since we have two old dogs with failing vision I put that light where the dog food is (old laundry room) and leave it on so it won't be so dark.
Y'all keep shining!
Love ✨
