Update on Bob with a little Procreate Madness

I saw cute whale in a tutorial that I did not watch, just got the Whale shape and went wild..
UPDATE ON BOB
Last visit to Orthopedist on fractured ankle, unless he has a problem on Monday
Tuesday Apt. with PA at Neurologist Office. PA offered med for hallucinations, Bob refused. Infusions approved, no idea when, he is happy with that, but I have reservations and wonder why they spend thousands on his walking, when he is on a fast downhill dementia ride. I did research Bowel incontinence in CIDP
and it is a possibility. I have prayed over these decisions and as long as Bob is making his decisions, I go with the flow. I do wonder if the fact infusions pour money into their business, yes medicine has become a business, and there is no money in treating dementia other than a visit now and then.

Any one of you thinking, I might be descended from
Michelangelo?

Explanation for THESE is Procreate did an Update and gave me dozens of new paint brushes. The back ground above is a new brush and below is 2 new brushes
Just for Playtime
I did first two and was able to draw. After the last 10 days of dementia, I can no longer draw. Waiting for Mojo to come back. Will play with brushes until it does.

Sadly, I think you're right. There's no money to be made from dementia and yet that's the thing hanging over all of us.
I like your whales and I'm sure the inspiration will return. In the meantime, enjoy playing with your brushes.

Thank you for continuing to update us on Bob. Ya, I'm convinced there's big $ in pharmaceuticals, etc. ... not unlike cancer. When Tom was going through chemo, someone remarked these companies don't WANT a cure cause there's no profit in that. Sad.

That whale on the left looks so whimsical ... I'd like to have a stuffy of him/her. That first background in green looks like thumbprints!

I'm happy to see you having some art fun. Us too, we're always sending prayers for you, Bob and Beau, and great big hugs too.

The frogs make me think Picasso rather than Michelangelo ;-) ... I like the whales, though! So sorry about your whole situation, and I think I get your frustration about whether the drs have the right focus when it comes to treatment. I guess we can only hope/pray that they do. ♥

Aww my friend, I'm glad you can use the program with the new brushes. Keep doing it. These are great.
Sorry Bob is refusing the meds but perhaps its for the best anyway. Wonder about the infusions. Prayers continuing. I'm so sorry life is a constant roller coaster for you.

Has anyonne tested Bob's sodium levels? MiL would have sudden and massive deteriorations from time to time (lots of confusion and madness) and the medicos would day she needed sodium (it was an infusion) - things would improve after that.

It's really tough to make these decisions and I know you are both doing what's best for now. Once we go into a decline, it's constant changes and challenges. Sending you both sweet hugs, Diane

I sure enjoyed your drawings. one thing I have learned is that the medical profession is all about money. last April I had an appointment with my regular doctor. on that very day, I was actually in the hospital having a stent put in my heart. my husband called to cancel the appointment. today I got a call and becauseI did not cancel 24hours in advance they have charged me 100.00 for that visit !! 🥵. argh!!

These are more like Picasso! I am thinking maybe if the infusions work, it could help with the incontinence? love the elephant and happy whales!

Actually I was thinking Andy Warhol or Picasso.
I just don’t know - are the hallucinations from dementia? My brother had them as well. Thanks for the update. I do wish things would change for the better. Meanwhile so many are praying and it is the best anyone can do. Keep your eyes on the Lord as you’re definitely walking in uncharted territory but not for God. Keeping trusting Him.

Thanks for the update on Bob. I pray for you and him. Is there any way to let Bob think he is making the decisions and then you make the important life savings one?
Art is a great outlet for you.

It must add to an already tense situation when the patient refuses medication. As for the medical system and its constant demands for money, I am once again thankful for universal health care, where the strain of wondering how to pay for treatment, or watching a bank account being depleted by the minute, is not something we have to deal with. Access to treatment should be a universal right. Better start listening to Bernie Sanders. Best wishes for Bob - and you too, Caregiver Sandra.

It's sad that medicine is now a business and the focus is taken off of patient care.
I like all your art. Even playing with brushes can create very interesting pieces..

So sorry it's been like this. Prayers for you both. Patient Care sure has taken a downhill slide since 0bamacare took over. Even those of us not on it are affected by it. It's sad.
Love & prayers for ya kuz. ❤️

I'm so glad you have these things to "play with" to help keep you sane, and we get to enjoy them. I am sorry Bob refused the meds...I wish they could tell him it was something to make him get well quicker or some kind of pill to make him strong again like a young man or some way to get his attention and acceptance. Or someway to put it in his food. He would feel so much better (and so would you) if he would take the meds for the hallucinations. I'm going to keep praying for some answers that are reasonable for all. Meanwhile, I'm glad you have Beau and your iPad and all of us! We love you and care about you! Praying for you daily.

I'm glad his ankle is okay. Sorry he didn't want the medication for the hallucinations. Like you said, he is making these decisions so your just going with that and I think that is fine. I like that movie photo of you. Keeping all of you in my prayers.
