Cold Front Came, Hurricane left

Oct 28th, walking Beau at 7:35, I took two photos of the front that saved us from Cat 5 Hurricane Melissa, It pushed the storm East and we were spared, but Jamaica was destroyed. I am thankful for being spared and pray for the ones that were hit so hard
Beau and I really enjoyed 4 days of brrr cold in AM walk with lows of 57 to 61 degrees. I even wore my orange hoody.
photo taken 11/30/2024

Yesterday I   posted this photo and Meezer commented it would make a great Halloween photo.
I spend an hour each day PLAYING at drawing/painting in Procreate on Ipad and
here you go Meezer...your comment inspired my playtime.
Any of you want to give me your title for this ummm .......creation???

You look very fetching in your orange hoodie. Thank goodness that terrible storm didn’t inflict its wrath on you. You have had enough of that for one lifetime. But what a tragedy for the poor people of Jamaica and eastern Cuba.

Hello Sandra,
I am glad the storm missed your area. It is sad to see the damage in Jamaica. You look cute in your orange hoodie. It is in the 30's here this morning, I am not ready for winter. I would be happy with temps in the 50's and 60's . Take care, happy Friday! Have a great weekend.

Yes, we are thankful not have had a hurricane, but I do pray for the people of Jamaica. Their recovery will be long and slow and painful. We are expecting temps to drop into the 30's next week. I don't know what to do about our cats. They still haven't tried out their little warm beds. They take off and go find a warm hidey hole somewhere, but then Sunshine came home with a battle wound on his hind end. I wish I had a utility room that I could put them in and close the door so they couldn't get into things in the house, but they are so used to being free at night, I just don't know how they would be able to stand being cooped up all night inside. I love your orange hoody, and your creations are interesting to say the least. I'm not sure what I'd call it..."Lady in Red" doesn't quite seem to be the right thing. LOL. Have a lovely day.

Cute hoodie girl! (Orange suits you, I say.)
All I can think of is a twist on Dickens' -- Ghosts of (Halloween) Past. I think Yam nailed it!

Hurray the storm missed y'all! I try to remember the folks in Jamaica too as one of our best friends' in-laws live there. They were hit really bad.
The hoody looks nice and cozy.
Yeah, go with the 3 Ghosts of Halloween. It does look spooky.
Sending prayers. xx

I am going to say that you look more like the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future. Don't you think so? I am so glad you are having an hour of ME time to recharge!!! Lack of serious sleep has not hurt your creativity one bit. And you look adorable in the hoodie!

So glad you all didn’t get this hurricane. I heard about Jamaica and that vacationers were helping the people to clear up. Your card is excellent and I also like your orange hoody.

Dear Sandra :)
I'm so glad the storm did not hit your neighbourhood. but so sorry for the people of Jamaica. You do look cosy in your orange hoodie, and have such a sweet smile. I would be scared to death if I met those three apparitions well done, they do look terrifying. I missed you whilst I was away and hope everything is as well as it can be,exspected. My computer died and I had no way of letting anyone know, but my new one is great.
Hugs

Hi Sandra, it's so good to see you! I have never been more relieved about being spared from a cat 5 after everything we went through last year. I've obviously been gone from blogging for a long time, but I did check in on your blog back then to make sure you were ok. I'm so sorry to come back and read about everything going on with Bob. Glad to see Beau is doing well. I've missed you!

Has it ever happened to not have a hurricane during hurricane season? Haha, put me down for ghosts of Halloween past.
