Meet "Precious" MY new Leaf Blower, the first one I have ever owned.
So tired from sweeping the pool deck and the front porch, sidewalk and driveway, I spent 2 days, reading and watching videos, comparing and overthinking.
For 2 days Bob fussed about me buying one.
For 2 days, I ignored him, even yelled at him once.
Monday I kept checking the front porch, looking at the tracking #, waiting and waiting. Precious showed up at 2:45, Charged 30 minutes, she takes and hour, but came half charged.
I will not repeat our conversation while I "unboxed" Precious, I watched the man below, all the way from UK, showing how to unbox and use BEFORE I ordered it because I knew if it was NOT EASY, it was not for me.
The short story of unboxing, I am following steps in my head I had watched, Bob is saying that is not right give it to me. A Few Times.
I may have yelled Shut Up. 😇
I came to a halt when trying to easily snap the battery to the charger. Bob kept saying give it to me.😇😇
I finally gave it to him, he did what he thought was right, while I said that is not right, I WATCHED the Video, you did NOT, and I plugged it in and no red light.
Without saying One Word, 😇😇😇😇
I unplugged it, pulled up Stampy, the guy with the British Accent, the guy in the video, and went to the part about putting the battery on, and saying AHA! I held Precious up and slapped her Battery on the Butt with my hand and boom, she was charging. I forgot he had to hit her to get her on the charger.
I sat waiting!
Sitting on Sofa I Saw the Light Turn Green and raced outside and in 15 minutes I had blown the pool deck, cleaned the ditch of leaves, blew leaves off the sidewalk, porch and driveway.
Without Hurting Myself. She only ways less than 5 lbs with battery included.
I came in clutching her to my heart and said I love this, I am naming her Precious.
I put her back on the charger, she was ready in 30 minutes.
I may have slapped the battery on the blower, when she turned green, and did a quick draw, you know like in a western, and said she is Ready to Roll, next time and placed her in MY Closet, not the garage.
She is skinny, lightweight, less than 5 lbs with battery on and fast and LOUD and only cost $37.99
She runs on low for 30 minutes, on high for 20 and I will never work longer than that anyway.
Precious is all Mine.
PS: our pollen count that day was 9, and pollen is everywhere, floating in the pool, and I looked like I was covered in yellow powder, and had to take a shower to stop my nose from running. I love her anyway.

I kind of felt like you when I got my first battery powered chain saw...but I HAD to be able to use it, and now I have 'graduated' to a bigger one, of the same kind. But, um...mine don't have names, LOL! So now I have three different sizes of battery powered chain saws, a battery powered grass clipper fo r the edges and a battery powered tire inflator. What's next?? Who knows. The problem is they all have different chargers and batteries so I cannot interchange them...oh well, they will all find their place in our storage areas.
Wonderful!!!! You are using your research ability to really help yourself!!!
Good for you! Yay, Sandra!!
