All In the Angle!

SquirrelQueen found a badge that says it all about ME! For the love of photography is the reason i started this blog, then my black belt in conversation took over and I started to blah! blah! blah! So the blog is all about photography and the love of talking (writing)
I like the fact something that is mundane at first glance, can become a thing of beauty by changing the angle or view of the camera lens. These photos were taken several years ago at Ringling Museum.

Not  a good view, but walk to the other end and back again.

Can you see what I mean?

In 1911, John Ringling and his wife, Mable purchased 20 acres of waterfront property in Sarasota, Florida. Today, that investment welcomes visitors from around the globe with fine art, historic mansion, two circus museums and a jewel-box of a theater.

There is no place better to take my camera. I think I FEEL a visit coming on soon!

I'll be looking forward to your next visit to the Ringling Museum. I wonder if pictures are allowed inside. How far away from you is Sarasota?

I like the shadows on the urns that you captured at the museum. I hope you'll share more pictures when you go back.

Gee--that place has really changes, Sandra, since I was there back in the '70's...

Amother beautiful place you can visit and take your camera sometime is Siesta Key... That was/is??? a gorgeous area near Sarasota. We used to go there and collect tons and tons of shark's teeth. Wish I still had those teeth... We collected SO many when we lived there. I have fond memories of my times in Venice.

Hugs,
Betsy

not sure who asked how far it is to Ringling, it is exactly 10 miles from my door to theirs. NOT interstate miles, traffic filled miles. but worth it

Your header!!! I could stare at it all day. What a bautiful shock to the eyes to see it. My favorite colors are seafoam or teal. Ceiling?? Beverly recently sent me a link to this place, and on the website you can do a virtual tour, where you move the mouse to travel through the different places. That was fun. If I went there, I would literally have fifty posts!! Remember the pictures of the lights I took at the Botanical Garden? One was the Garden Of Spiders. Well, I still have about twenty more posts from it!! How far away from you is it?

Whoops! I just saw you comment how far away you are , 10 miles. Sometimes I don't read others comments.

What a beautiful place, it would be a photographer's delight. Some much history too.

thanks for the shout. I think we should form a Pathological Picture Takers' Society!

I see what you mean about the angle! And I love the digital camera for allowing us to be generous with shots and be able to compare afterwards!
