Trees CAN Cross Their KNEES!

Hi, my name is Terry Tree. I live in the woods just outside this Welcome Center in Emerson Point Preserve.

I am sure you did not know trees can cross their knees, but here is Proof Postive. Why don't all you humans take my example to heart and kick back and cross your knees and enjoy God's Creation.

I never saw a discontented tree. They grip the ground as though they liked it, and though fast rooted they travel about as far as we do. They go wandering forth in all directions with every wind, going and coming like ourselves, traveling with us around the sun two million miles a day, and through space heaven knows how fast and far! ~John Muir

I guess that tree was surely planted in the right place if he's so comfortable that he crosses his knees! Good shot, and one that I probably would have missed!

Trees obviously love the dirt God provided for them, because they thrive so Majesticly.

Well I'll be darn.... That tree (a female though) is crossing her legs for sure!!!!!! Looks like she needs a bra though!!!!! ha ha

Just think---if you were a tree, you'd get to see everything all around you for many, many years.

Hugs,
Betsy

I love trees with marvelous roots like this..I'm always in awe and think they make the greatest captures! So symbolic of man aren't they!? Is that your charming tree house?

Who knew they had knees to cross? That is a very cool tree, I really like the unusual one like this as they seem to have more character.

The crossed knees look just like a spider. Lovely old house in the country.
Cheers.

Well, isn't that just something. Do they pick up their pinky finger when they drink tea, too? lol!
