Good Fence - The Good, the bad and the ugly

In a prior post I told you this vine on the window in our garage was Virginia Creeper and that I am wondering how long Bob will leave it there... 20 days later, I asked Bob why he is letting the creeper grow over the window?

His answer was it is NOT Virginia Creeper it is Passion Vine and is the recipient of our Butterfly eggs and all the Butterflies in our back yard.... the vine appeared there on the extra fence piece and he is waiting for it to die naturally which it will.

Cocoon HERE

The good is the butterflies have their incubator and we can get 2 cars in the garage....
The bad and the ugly are the same thing.... it is ugly therefore it is BAD... to me anyway.

But it is pretty from the inside with the reflections on the truck and silhouettes. the good is I never go on the outside of the garage to see the bad and ugly.... that is HIS territory.. and of course the butterflies. The benefit of the bad and ugly is when parts of our fence fall apart we have two good sections to repair with... thus thinks the man from mars.

Joining TexWisGirl on Good Fence Thursday. Pop over to see fences from around the world.

Tale of a Pink Hisbiscus

While rolling the ball to Jake, he stopped and went ON POINT... staring at the hisbicus bush... Suddenly a squirrel raced out of the bush and up the tree with a big Pink Hisbiscus in his mouth, he scampered up to the fork in the tree and proceeded to eat the hibcus petal by petal... 28 years here with squirrels and hisbicus and my first view of  the Squirrels Flower Buffet.

Cant Take My Eyes Off of You

Can't Take My eyes off of you, you're just to good to be true......

Let me know if as soon as your read the sentence above, did a song pop in your head? did you start to hum, sing or whistle that song?

Blue Bunny ice cream is running a commercial of a Blue Bunny peering into a freezer looking at blue Bunny ice cream and the song in the back ground is this one. The commercial plays all day every day and I am unable to get rid of  Can't take my eyes off of you, except for one day when Ann at SnapEditScrap got me on the loop of Sitting on the dock of the bay with her post......
JUST in case you are not OLD enough to remember the song, I have added it to the post.. with lyrics below... below is the link if the video doesn't show..

You're just too good to be true
I can't take my eyes off you
You'd be like heaven to touch
I wanna hold you so much
At long last love has arrived
And I thank God I'm alive
You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off you
Pardon the way that I stare
There's nothing else to compare
The sight of you leaves me weak
There are no words left to speak
But if you feel like I feel
Please let me know that is real
You're just too good to be true
I can't take my eyes off you
I love you baby
And if it's quite all right
I need you baby
To warm the lonely nights
I love you baby
Trust in me when I say
Oh pretty baby
Don't bring me down I pray
Oh pretty baby
Now that I've found you stay
And let me love you, baby
Let me love you
You're just too good to be true
I can't… Full lyrics on Google Play

Shoe Space

I have 4 shelves like this in my walk in closet. I have always put the shoes I wear the most out on 3 of the shelves and the shelf is just narrow enough that they could not sit side by side. While watching a movie one night, I noticed the girls closet had the pairs of shoes front/back, front back. I got up and went to the closet and Voila! sitting them that way all 3 pair sit flat beside each other.

NO, my closet is NOT multi colored but is all white and ugly.... I emailed the photo to my tablet and added NOT ONE, but THREE Filters... Just because

PS.... there are no shoes on my shelves, they are all sandals... I do own one pair for walking, they live by the kitchen door.. I showed them in a Prior Post... they are red Skechers Walk n Go..

LUCKY ME! there is a FIRE Filter in Super Photo App..

Death by Chlorine

Bob was in his bathroom I was in mine. I hear a loud holy *&%$*& !

I walk down the hall and say "What?? What!!"

He says "a spider bigger than a 50 cent piece just walked out of the  toilet paper roll"

I say "was its body really huge, I mean PUFFY and fat?  THAT is what I saw in mine a few months ago. where is it?  where IS IT???"

He answered " you don't have to worry about that one anymore"

"What if there are TWO?"  I say.

He says  "that is probably the one you saw."

I say... "oh no he may have a spouse! maybe even a pregnant one!!!

This was 2 weeks ago... and . For the past two weeks every time anything touched my leg in my bathroom I thought it was a spider. Once I dropped a tiny piece of toilet paper and as it brushed my leg I jumped and yelled.

One time I put some water on the back of my hair where I have a bald spot and a cowlick and the water rolled down my back and I thought it was a spider running down my back. Every time I take a shower I feel like one is going to run up my leg. I get soap in my eyes when washing my hair because I can't leave them closed because what if I don't see the spider???

Friday morning while cleaning the shower I moved the bottle of dog shampoo and out ran a giant spider  the size of a Volkswagen. Her bad luck was I had  a spray bottle of cleaner with bleach in my hand...

Along Came A Spider to her Death by Chlorine ... Now I spend every moment wondering if there's a family left behind of if they died with her....NEED I SAY I do not touch the toilet paper roll in the dark any longer?
PS. Thursday morning at the YMCA pool, I found a spider climbing down a web from the ladder to the pool side. I yelled for Brian, our lifeguard and he came and popped it with his hands. Thank You Brian..  I mean how would I get out of the pool if there was a spider on the ladder??? hummm???

Riverview Houses

Just a few of the older homes on Riverview, taken from my driver side window while slowly moving. I could be very happy in any of these. My favorite is the one with the rockers on the porch.

The homes have a street between them and their docks and everything is posted except the streets. I stood in the street to take the river photos.

I parked my Kia in front of this beautiful tree in the yard of this beautiful home that has the view of the river.   Riverview drive with of all things a View of The River....

Two Amazing trees seen from where I parked my Kia ...

When I left I followed Riverview drive down and around to find the homes I will show tomorrow.

Phun Day Part Two...Culvers Yogurt

I know you all lost sleep last night wondering what we were laughing at in line at Culvers... Now...

Picture this... Chubby Old Lady in line with 4 pints of home made yogurt custard stacked in my hands one on top of the other, braced under my chin... it is melt in your mouth good... brahaha

I see four 20 something red neck guys on lunch break from working in the hot Florida sun, thus the name red necks because they were.
The one closest to me Raises His Eyebrows HIGH and laughs
I say
"they are 4.59 a pint but only 9.99 for FOUR"
He says "REALLY? are you sure? 9.99 for Four"

 and then he says

"So are you and 3 of your friends going to sit down with a spoon and finish those off?"

Laughing and Pointing to hubby over by the door, I said

"no, my husband and I are going to eat 2 each, and if we are good, they will last us two days"

He said; " I would eat one of those and start another and when half way through, I would say to myself, there is not enough to save and finish it off"
The cashier jumps in and says, I put one out to soften up so I could eat the whole thing but I got busy and now it is melted..
We are all laughing so hard, Bob is laughing and he has no clue why we are laughing.
When we get in the car I tell him this and we laugh all the way home.
Did I mention it is only 1 mile from home?

Note: I know this doesn't sound funny reading it, but you had to be there, the more we laughed the more we laughed. And Laughed..
Leave it to MadSnapper to raise a ruckus in the burger joint.

Do not even think I am going to share... I have Locked It UP by placing barb wire over our freezer and only I have the combination.

My Oil Change Made My Day!

Thursday was one of the most fun days in a long time. The PHUN fell on me at the most unexpected place. I took my Kia to Tire Kingdom for an oil change... While waiting I met a beautiful 30 something young woman who had a bubbly personality that looked a lot like the creation above. She was bright and sweet and funny and PHUN.... her name was Michele...

We connected from the moment we set eyes on each other. 1 hour and 15 minutes of talk, talk, talking and laugh, laugh laughing.... The time flew by. I had taken my phone, tablet and Kindle and only took the tablet out to take pics for this post and never touched it again.

By the time we left we were fast friends and she said I am Michelle and I said I am Sandra and she said Can I hug you???? YES! and we did .... so very thankful to find fun and kindness in a Tire Kingdom.

I came home and More PHUN was waiting... Bob took me to Culver's for a burger... NO COOKING! PLUS!

While standing in line to pay for yogurt to take home and put in the freezer after we ate our burgers, 4 young men in line behind me started teasing me and the five of us joked until we were all rolling on the floor laughing. the teen that was ringing up the ice cream got into it and his face was purple with laughing. It did not matter I am 50 years older than they were... We had our line laughing like we were watching a Bob Hope show.

I felt so good when I left I was floating on air. If laughter is good for the soul, it is Well With My Soul...

And hubby standing over by the door waiting said what was all that about?  He was laughing at us laughing and did not even know what we were laughing at...

I created all these art pieces with the last 3 pics in the collage at the end. One not so pretty auto repair place plus 6 sweet, kind, funny people and what a wonderful day in the neighborhood it was.

The best news is... involved in all of this fun there were black people and white people and red neck Ga and FL boys, college kids and a very old woman.... who knew?
