FIT me!!!

In the photo above you can CLEARLY see there is a difference. The one on the right, is makeup I have been using for a year, I buy it at Wal-Mart. Last week, I purchased a new bottle and when I opened it, and brushed on my face, I thought this feels different, has a slight scent. Plus I could SEE my PORES.... YIKES

Holding the two bottles side by side I saw Matte Poreless (MINE) and Dewy Smooth in the new. PLUS I noticed the FIT ME is green on one and white on the other.  I had opened and used so now I have both.   maybe my pores will shrink in the future??? with no need to cover them....

Here is my question? do you ever get home with the wrong thing?
Cut beans not French beans,
Pinto beans not Kidney beans.
Mushroom soup not Chicken Mushroom

Hair Spray was the shocker, the only difference on the can, a 2 on the front of the old and a 4 on the front of the newly purchased.
I noticed it did not say brushable, flexible hold, but Firm Hold jumped out at me.
I have no desire to look like helmet head, which is our name for the weather person on a local channel.
At least I noticed the difference before I opened it.
Back to Wal-Mart customer service.

Over the past few months I have made a total of 5 trips back to Wal-Mart to exchange for the right thing?  I feel like Linda in customer service wants to ask Can YOU Read? I know her name because in the 20 years she has been there, we are good friends... she just shrugs when I give her my newest excuse..   Last week I returned a gown because I did not like the way the lace felt on my back... I said Linda I tried it on before I bought it, but I did not remove my bra so could not feel the lace... Can you see her shrug?????

YES! This happens to us! And it is not our fault! Companies keep changing the packaging, and making new and improved from what is already good. They cannot leave their containers alone!! As soon as I know just what the yogurt, or cereal looks like, WHAM, they change the look of all the containers! That means that now I cannot rely on looks anymore, I have to spend more time in the store and READ. Nothing ever stays the same.

My purchasing is limited to food and cleaning essentials, but even there it is necessary to keep one's wits alert. The underhand thing is the reducing content without actually reducing the size of packaging, so value comparisons are not what might be thought. Aside from that, am fairly thorough. Don't know when last I ever returned anything. YAM xx

Happens to me pretty often. I seem to pick up the item beside what I meant to pick up! I feel like I am on a "list" at WM!

Yes, that's happened to me. For some things, I take a picture with my phone before I go to the store so I can compare to what is on the shelf. Of course when they change packaging like Ginny was talking about the picture doesn't help much.

Yes, I've had that experience too. So irritating. Glad Linda is cooperative. She doesn't roll her eyes at you, does she? lol

LOL, we call my hubby "Mr. Take-it-back". I think all the stores know him by name now. We all have to read the labels better. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day!

Giggles... oh yes I have when the product changes their labels. I have bought shampoo then gave it away. I now take pictures of products I love and try my best to get them again later. I wonder sometimes if, when I have a product I love, I should go back and buy six of them for later. Have a great day!

Did you return the makeup? I was behind a lady with opened make up packages to return at Wal-Mart a few years ago. When she got the the counter, I figured they send her on her way NOPE they took it back.
What gets me at the grocery story is folks who pick up something then change their minds put it in the wrong place such as french green beans with regular or no salt tomatoes with the regular tomatoes. Of course the French GB is on the can in good size print but in the wrong place. The no salt on the tomatoes is very small and I often get home with salt.

More often than I'd like to admit!
Makes me crazy to imagine the amount of $$$ marketers spend to trick shoppers. Probably, on account I'm so gullible.

I have to say, the Customer Service folks at our Wal-Mart seem really pleasant and anxious to please. I wonder how often they're taken advantage of.

I'm like everybody else...
A creature of habit and pick up that looks the same as the last time, only to find out that there is a slight change in the label or content..like salt or no salt.
It is so frustrating when I find something I really like and it goes away as "new and improved" NOT!!
I really hate returning things though.

Sure I have returned things. Most stores will take it back even if it has been opened. Do you like the new foundation?

Oh yes, I have gotten home with things I thought was what I was going after only to find it was not. I hardly everr take anything back though and if I do it is usually just to change out a size. Makeup or something like that I can usually find someone in the family or a friend that can use it.

Unfortunately,I have brought the wrong thing home all too often.Sometimes by mistake and I have to admit, sometimes because I didn't take the time to read the label carefully.

They know me there too - they must hear a ton of stories. Sometimes I feel so guilty - but what can you do.

Since I don't wear much make-up these days when it's too hot, I don't have that problem. lol What irritates my skin (neck) is the garment tags! Once they're in my possession, I cut 'em out.

As for beans & soups, I figure they go in one & out another, no complaints from me. (MOST always). I don't return them, I just buy what I need/want next time & keep my other purchase for future use.

Oh, YES, I have bought the wrong thing, and opened it before I realized. Get so frustrated with myself.
