Oh Sandra - I am so sorry that it was time for Jake to leave you - this was too soon. I am so sad for you now - I know too well how a heart dog can tug at you when they are in pain and there is only one thing you can so to help them feel better. I wish there was a better way. Take whatever time you need - I know all of us in Blogville do understand. I wish I was there to give you a big hug. Prayers for peace and rest.

Dear MS we are so sorry to read about Jake’s passing....the day you found him was the first day of the rest of his life full of love and companionship.. my goodness I love how he could leap...I have images of him romping freely with no pain

I'm so sorry. He was a lucky dog to have been given a second chance at life and in turn he gave you so much life and love in return.He looks like he had Boxer in him, such a pretty boy!
I'm so sorry your beautiful boy is gone. But what a wonderful life he had with you, Bob and Baby. I know your heart is broken. He was your everything and leaves so much emptiness. He is at peace and I know that will help you eventually. So, so sorry.

He was such a wonderful dog and even though I've never met him I knew he was special through all your wonderful photos and stories about him. I pray you will find comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering or in pain and that you will always hold him close in your heart.
