Time OAT For Breakfast

Take Time OAT for Breakfast, the most important meal of the day

Our Bodies need breakfast, doesn't matter what time you get up, our body needs fuel to start up after a night of resting...

At least twice a week I have a bowl of oatmeal with peanut butter stirred in. I count calories and carbs, no more than 40 per meal, 30 per snack, no more than 200 per day.

This breakfast is 27 carbs and  Calories 250 to 350, depending on if I choose 1 TBS Or TBS of peanute butter. For me Natural is all I eat, and Quack-er Oats is best.

Do you eat breakfast?
What do you eat for breakfast?

Do you eat oatmeal?
I change up to walnuts and raisins sometimes.
What do you eat in your oatmeal?

I also Take Time OAT to play in Photoshop, PicMonkey and Sketchpad, to create these 3 pics today
I took time Oat to play in Photoshop, PicMonkey and Sketchpad, after I took time oat to play with my Samsung Tablet and Pip Camera in the tablet.. Fun is as important as Food. Almost. Shout out to Ann of SnapEditScrap for pushing me to relearn Photoshop. If you hear loud screams, it is me struggling with it. Relearning what I learned years ago. BEFORE I FORGET, I forgot to do a post today, got up to NO COMMENTS and had to create this post...

I put PB in my oatmeal too! Adds a little protein and it's filling. Sometimes I add half a banana or chopped apple.

I do eat oatmeal but I've been out of it for quite a while so I've been eating regular cereal. I always buy the instant kind that's flavored and my favorite was the apple cranberry.
Glad you are having fun with the playing and relearning.
My morning routine starts with checking my blog to make sure my post publishes. There have been lots of times that I have scheduled it and in the morning it has reverted to draft or it's scheduled for the evening. This way if I check it (usually around 4:30 or so) it's still early enough that everyone will see it.

Oh yes, oatmeal for me ... I add blueberries or dried apples with cinnamon. No milk...cooked with water. Once a month (not always but sometimes) I'll fix sausage & eggs. NEVER peanut butter (I don't like it much).

Just came here from Ann's blog...loved your MAD SNAP award!a

Hello, I had oatmeal this morning for breakfast. I like to add cinnamon, I never tried it with peanut butter. Have fun playing with Photoshop.

Enjoy your day!

I love good old-fashioned Rolled Oats, Scots-style... though adapted oats into my brekky bun recipe as you know - for current convenience! Yxx

I used to eat oatmeal... and then my body stopped liking it. I should try it again to see how I feel. It is 37° here this morning so a hot cereal would be good. I always have some kind of cereal for breakfast and I always have fresh berries on it (or in my oatmeal). I can't survive without eating breakfast!

I LOVE oatmeal, and I love peanut butter but never thought about combining the two. Actually, about the only time I consume oatmeal is during chilly weather (I'm a seasonal eater) or if I've a sore throat … usually with warmed half & half and a big pat of butter.

I didn't know you did Photoshop, too?! I used to long to learn it - and even attended a one-day class -- then, when my boss learned how much the software cost it was a "nooooo."

One of my favorite breakfast foods, but I have never thought to put peanut butter in it! I will have to try that.

This is a dumb question - you cook it first - then add the peanut butter. Excellent as you are never to eat a naked carb (a carb without protein).

I can't imagine how hard Photoshop is! And I need your help with just simple things. Your picture is really cute! I have read that the Smucker's Natural is top rated. I like a variety of things for breakfast. We do eat oatmeal quite a lot. I like to sprinkle the top with cinnnamon and sugar .I also stir in cinnamon chips or ham. And sometimes top with a fried or poached egg. I also make breakfast sandwiches, eggs, pancakes, waffles. Today I am making little pie pockets from bread, filling them with ham and mozzarella, and frying them. That's a new one I found, and am getting up in a few minutes to make it. I LOVE Pinterest! I find almost all of my recipes there. You can find recipes, crafts, ideas, good quotes of any kind. All kind of things; just type in the box. You can type in OATMEAL and get thousands of cool ideas. I can stay on there forever looking at stuff. Have to make sure I have the spare time when I do it.

You've got it figured out and it shows. I do eat breakfast and shoot for 45 carbs per meal as well.

It would never even occur to me to mix peanut butter with oatmeal! :o I don't eat oatmeal regularly and when I do it's more likely to be for supper than for breakfast. My breakfast is usually soy yoghurt (soy because I'm lactose intolerant) with some kind of fruit or berries + one cheese sandwich on rye or other whole meal bread + a cup of tea. I never count calories, I didn't during my weight loss a few years ago either. I just haven't got the patience! The major change I did (and still keep to) is that I eat less "carbs" and a lot more vegetables than I used to, and I try to keep regular meal times. I always ate quite a lot of fruit and still do.

Oatmeal with peanut butter sounds delicious.
I have found that since cutting out flour and a lot of grains I feel better and now when I try oatmeal my tummy gives me problems.
Maybe now that the gall bladder is gone I can try it again.
My morning routine for the last year is 2 fried eggs with mushrooms...no oil or butter and cup of coffee. It sticks to my ribs and takes me through the day pretty well. A friend gives us eggs from his hens so they are really tasty.
After blowing my diet for the last week with all sorts of "bad" things and up 2 pounds...I got on the scale this morning and am back down the same two crazy pounds. Too many carbs and sugars really made me feel terrible. So...
back to the diet again....
Another hot day today. I know I have projects to do but we'll see what actually gets accomplished.. (:0)

It's wholemeal toast and marmalade for me and sometimes granola with added fruit and nuts, but now I feel it's time for porridge made with traditional Quaker Oats brand now that the weather is getting cooler. Porridge is real comfort food and sets me up for the day. Have a good day Sandra!

Yes I eat breakfast. I like oatmeal. I've never put PB into it. I have a new PB that I'm loving from MaraNatha Organic with no added sugar or salt.

I like these edits. I often make my oatmeal with dried cranberries and chopped apples. PB sounds good too. Will have to try that.

What a great post on the fly! I love dates and walnuts, or apples and walnuts in my oatmeal :-)

Love the PiP!

Glad to know I am not the only one that eats peanut butter in oatmeal. I never know what I may end up eating in oatmeal. I sometimes eat it with raisins and cinnamon, sometimes peanut butter, peanut butter and jelly, cinnamon and brown sugar, different fruits and I have eaten it with nothing but a little milk and a tad of sugar. I always eat the old fashion oats I grew up eating them. Another interesting post sweet Sandra. Hugs
