Panoramic Surprise

Google Photos surprised me and emailed me this Panoramic View that it auto-created and put together 3 photos I took of the doctors office. Made 3 look like one.. Amazing and

Kind of scary it can do that and I can't.  Click on photo to see the whole view that I saw while sitting in my chair. My camera would not take the whole room, I had to take pieces.

Mad Meandering Mind thoughts.

We watched Roadhouse for about the 6th time this past week. I found it on Prime and I loved Patrick Swayze… and may have watched Dirty Dancing more than a few times. Did you like either movie?

I find I love the movies from the 80's more than the ones they make now. I have yet to find a single movie made after 2000 that I can say I loved it. And TV is even worse.

TV series on my DVR, all are Reality Talent Shows but the first 3. I can't find a situation show I like.
New Amsterdam
For The People
The Village
The Voice
American Idol
Songland
So You Think You Can Dance
DWTS
World of Dance
America's Got Talent
Do you have favorite TV series?
UPDATE ...LAST NIGHT AFTER MIDNIGHT WE GOT A 20 MINUTE RAIN!
THANK YOU LORD FOR THAT INCH OF RAIN.

I do not like reality shows. Actually we don't match on any of those programs. Tonight we were sitting on the deck with Dean and Sherry and we were talking about Facebook and my blog and I mentioned I don't like reality shows and come to find out - that's what my online journal aka BLOG is. What a surprise. But I do like 'reality' blogs. Blogs like yours and others who share their lives.
I like shows like Downton Abbey.I wishe there were movies about Tasha Tudor and Glasys Tabor's lives. I do like British programs and am an Amazon Prime member but still do not know how to watch them.
it is a tiny bit spooky that Google knows who you are and sends you special things. Or maybe it is just flattering!

I watch a lot of PBS & Nature. The only commercialized programming I watch is NCIS's. Once in a while football & baseball in season.

And, yes, I had the time of my life...with Dirty Dancing. (Also Footloose)

Afraid I also don't match on the viewing scale. I enjoy a fair few sports (currently tennis and cricket are at the top), films and other shows are a bit hit and miss. The bots in Google used to tizzy up some of my shots until I tinkered in the 'settings' and switched off that so-called 'service'. YAM xx

Hello,

It is scary what Google can do. I loved watching "The Village", a great show.
The Voice, Idol and Songland are some more of my favorites.

Yay for the RAIN! Enjoy your day!

Gorgeous photo MS.
Ohhhhhh Dirty Dancing let me just say I have watched it so many times I can repeat the lines with the actors. KNow all the songs and the same goes for Grease. Everytime I watch one of those again B always asked has it changed any. Every now and then I will see something tidbit I don't recall in a scene but I'm sure I just missed it. Thus my excuse for my 1 millionth viewing of each. I also love the more recent romantic comedy The Holiday staring Cameron Diaz,Kate Winslett, Jude Law and Jack Black, the The Proposal (which was filmed in Alaska) staring Sandra Bullock, Ryan Reynolds and BETTE WHITE!!
Hugs Cecilia

I have something called stitiching photos. I've never delved into it. I wonder if that's what it does?

Now I want to watch Roadhouse again but I'm pretty much over Dirty Dancing.

Very little T.V. for me. Jeopardy, Blue Bloods & some PBS Drama are on my list along with Pirate Baseball. My viewing habits have changed to You Tube. I love that I choose the subject, time and where I'm located at will.

Right now I'm on the deck. I created a mobile desk from a wheeled cart and am loving the breeze and sunshine while talking with online friends, researching family history or as above, viewing and learning on YT.

Dirty Dancing was a good one. No recall if I saw the other. Google sure is clever at using your stuff on your behalf.

We got some rain and it looks so beautiful this morning. We needed it so much. I've never seen either of those movies but we love watching old movies. We don't watch regular tv. We read in the evenings and go on our computers. Enjoy your day! Maybe we'll get another shower...I HOPE!!!

Wonderful that you got rain...I don't remember watching either of your favorite two movies...but I may have watched bits. But since 2000 there was Seabiscuit and Secretariat and I loved both. But one from before that I watch any time I happen on it is Steel Magnolias.

We watch a lot of PBS...Pbs Mysteries, and masterpiece, just a lot of stuff and funny thing Roger likes it and some of his buddies are like us.I record anything with music...a lot of it people we have never heard of. Some of it is winners and some of it is terrible. But Roger enjoys anything music...well, not the awful stuff...but it is fun to find new artists.

We watch The Voice, American Idol, AGT, and really liking Songland. Oh, we love to watch America's Funniest Home videos...

Movies aren't in Dave's wheelhouse so I don't see many of them any more.
I love the old musicals like West Side Story, Music Man, My Fair Lady...my era for sure.
We watch things like Amazing Race and a lot of Discovery and Travel Channel. There are some really good adventure things on there.
So glad you got a shot of rain finally. I hope that's a sign of good things to come.
The Google panorama is terrific but that you didn't create it is a bit scary and "Big Brother-ish"
We think our stuff is private...but it's definitely not.

The panorama looks good. Most phone cameras have a setting called 'pano' with that you can take great panoramic pictures.

This picture is awesome! And even better when I made it bigger. I like the two color chairs back in the right, kind of like a nice surprise. Is Google Photos like a backup for your pictures? I have it on my new phone, but don't know what to do with it. Is it easy to use, what does it do? It does things like this for you without you even asking? I know nothing about it. Do NOT get me started on New Amsterdam!!! I love it!!! Did you know that Max is based on a real doctor?? And that doctor is alive now, and is involved in the show! I saw an article about him with his picture. I love most of these shows. The Village has been cancelled, is what I read. Don't know if it's final or not. What about The Good Doctor? it is about a surgeon with Autism. You would love it!!

That's so cool!
Mad Meandering Mind thoughts … I love alliteration! I don't recall ever having watched Roadhouse, but yes(!!!) to Dirty Dancing. I agree about today's movies … bleh. (Well, except for Mr. Church we found on Netflix.) I don't know if my hearing's going bad or I'm turning into my mother, but I wish actors would enunciate more. (Picture Tom and me turning to one another going 'huh?')
TV favorites over here are the Wednesday night Chicago trifecta, AGT and The Voice. Even those last two have begun to get on my nerves. I'd like to see The Village and New Amsterdam. Still lovin' The Good Doctor.

PS - In the last couple weeks we've been watching PBS specials featuring groups from the 40's and 50's. Tom's amazed I know all the words!

Wow, it did great at turning those three shots into a panoramic view.
I never liked reality shows of any kind and just won't watch them. There really haven't been any newer shows that I've liked until this year. I guess when you are limited on what you can watch it makes a difference. I started watching New Amsterdam and really liked it and I'm also enjoying The Village. Another one is Superstore. That show just cracks me up.

The panoramic photo is very clever. I find myself watching very little TV these days. Not a fan of reality shows either. I do have Netflix and saw a really sweet and poignant movie recently about a Native American Grandpa making a journey to a POWWOW having asked his grandson to drive him there. I wish I could remember its title but I got into it before the name took.

I just read Linda's comment (top one). I guess we are our own reality show. I never thought about that before.

Glad you got your rain.

It is extremely scary that google can do that and we can't. I enlarged it and it was an awesome photo.

Hey we just got into the series - THIS IS US - kind of like the Village but came out first. It is excellent and brilliantly done - three seasons so far.

Most of your list of tv programmes I've not heard of, of course. We have The Voice and a UK version of Dancing With The Stars, which I think many countries do. We only have Freeview tv. The BBC programmes are good - no adverts, but the sponsored channels are annoying with adverts every five minutes. We tend to watch box sets of movies so we don't have to sit through tv ads or I pick up something for a £1 at a charity (thrift) shop. Glad you got some rain. Hope all is going well with you both.
