Update to Yesterday POST.

Yesterdays Post, I joked about Bob getting compliments on his age and his hair.
My complaint was a joke. I must have written it the wrong way after reading all the comments.

His hair is beautiful, she was not just saying that. I would trade my hair for his any time if i could. It is soft and silky and hangs in curls. If you scroll through the Tab above with Bob on it, you can see all the hair over the years, it is just as good now as it was when we married 35 years ago.

A couple of years ago, we were walking on main street at the farmers market. Coming towards us was a young, beautiful African American, dressed in a suit swinging her brief case. As she passed us she said with a big smile NICE HAIR!
We both laughed because I said did she mean me?
Every place we shop, women comment on his hair. Things Like I am jealous!
When we went to Georgia to introduce Bob to my parents, we got out of the car and mother said ALL THAT HAIR!
Once standing at the deli waiting, a small boy holding his dad's hand, tugged on his dad and pointed at Bob and said Look Daddy, it's Jesus.
Now that part we all know is not true.. 😁

Last but not least, the nurse meant the compliment about the 83 years old and could not believe it. From swimming 1000 meters a day for the past 20 years of retirement, his shoulders are broad and he has muscles others don't have. He doesn't toddle, he walks.

What I was complaining about is his hair is pretty and mine is not and I look 75 and so does he, but I am 75 and he is not....

I had to set this straight since everyone who commented thought the staff  did not mean what they said..

Not his bike, but he has always said if I die first he is buying one

What a lovely tribute to Bob! I knew what you meant in the post before this one.

I too understood that you were poking fun - but that doesn't alter the fact that there is definitely a gender imbalance in such comments - which is why you got all the responses you did!!!

As a woman who has inherited the baldness gene and whose once lush hair is now a quarter what it was, I too ma jelly over Bob's hair. Anybody's hair, for that matter! I love the montage work - think I prefer te colour one best. YAM xx

Well I knew what you meant yesterday but I'm glad you clarified because we got to hear about the little boy who thought Bob was Jesus.
LOVE that beach photo. I like the black and white but love all the colors in the other

Thank you for clarifying. I agree with Ann about what the little boy said....
I cannot imagine swimming that much. I don't think I could do the doggie
paddle for more than 5 minutes

Color me, (happily) straightened! That little boy's comment about Jesus is so precious! Methinks you're one lucky lady!

PS - Your second photo is amazing. (I actually dislike that over-used word, amazing, but adjectives escape me.)

Glad Bob is keeping well. Mr P also has thick hair which grows quickly and I see he needs a trim, which either I or daughters do in between going to the barber shop. However, it's getting chilly so probably a little longer at the nape of the neck is best at the moment especially on a day when it's good to stay in and potter.

It is absolutely amazing how he exercises each day. That really is the key to a long life and a strong mind. Your are one lucky girl!

I would be willing to pay quite a lot for hair like Bob has.

All those people are not wrong, Bob does have nice hair!

My husband also was blessed with great hair. At 66 he has no balding spot and still asks to have his hair thinned. I too would trade hair with my husband. It's just not fair!

I could tell you were being silly on the last post. I've had a similar thing happen and it has become a running joke between us. I'm never asked if I would like a water refill while dining out and my husband always gets one without asking. They will even walk past me when I'm trying to get their attention. What the....? It cracks me up when the waitress sees I'm paying the bill. They kind of get a "oh crap" expression on their face. Ha! Enjoy your day!

Me too, I saw the humor. And he does have a beautiful head of hair I would be very happy to have! I do not get compliments about mine like Bob does :)
