Way Back When

In the early 90's, as a Real Estate Agent, I had a lot of time off to do fun things.
I went into Paint Mode.
I was in Silver Blue Wash Mode for the paint color.

I found the angel and she was so beautiful I bought her.
Next was Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus in the manger.
I added pieces for a couple of years.
I even painted a bust because it looked Like Bob.
Not sure who it really is. You can see it HERE
See, it even has Bob's Camera Frown

The real estate agent, if I had known it, I forgot it. Don't remember the angel or this gorgeous set either. In fact, I had to look back up at the top to be sure I had clicked on the Mad One instead of some other blog! I DO remember the bust sculpture.

What a gorgeous nativity set, you did a fantastic job! The post with the bust cracked me up, especially the part where you said one day you would put it in the goodwill box and then specified the bust not the hubby!

What Martha just said ... me, too! I definitely see why you coveted that bust. Except in the second picture, he/it looks terrified. "What are you DOING to me, woman?" BTW, I LOVE that photo of the two of you 'way back when.' Funny, Daniel's comment.

I've never had a nativity scene since I was 3 or 4. 'Think I'll start looking at Goodwill and other thrift stores after the first of the year.

Fascinating how today each post Inreaf goes into the past. Love those nook pics. Painting while an agent was news I enjoyed.

I've been looking around on your blog so I'm wondering if you walked out with Bob's head? I think it's the prophet Isaiah, but then Bob has that look,Old Testament or Old Sea Captain. Sorry, Old showed up in both suggestions -- and now I'm giggling madly. Don't tell Bob, please...
