In the early 90's, as a Real Estate Agent, I had a lot of time off to do fun things.
I went into Paint Mode.
I was in Silver Blue Wash Mode for the paint color.
I found the angel and she was so beautiful I bought her.
Next was Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus in the manger.
I added pieces for a couple of years.
I even painted a bust because it looked Like Bob.
Not sure who it really is. You can see it HERE
See, it even has Bob's Camera Frown
Night and Day views of 2009 Nook. The first Christmas I blogged. I am still using the same trees since 2006
One day I walked into the cermaics store, browsing while on my lunch break

The real estate agent, if I had known it, I forgot it. Don't remember the angel or this gorgeous set either. In fact, I had to look back up at the top to be sure I had clicked on the Mad One instead of some other blog! I DO remember the bust sculpture.
P.S. I love how you made the nativity into stained glass, it is perfect.

This is beautiful. I love the way you painted it. That angel is really spectacular. She's amazing.
Hello,
The nativity scene looks beautiful. I love the tree and your nook.
Have a great day and week ahead. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
I remember the bust, but not until I seen it. I love the Nook.night shot.
What a gorgeous nativity set, you did a fantastic job! The post with the bust cracked me up, especially the part where you said one day you would put it in the goodwill box and then specified the bust not the hubby!
What Martha just said ... me, too! I definitely see why you coveted that bust. Except in the second picture, he/it looks terrified. "What are you DOING to me, woman?" BTW, I LOVE that photo of the two of you 'way back when.' Funny, Daniel's comment.
I've never had a nativity scene since I was 3 or 4. 'Think I'll start looking at Goodwill and other thrift stores after the first of the year.
Ohhh I loved the link to look back. Salty old Sea Dog, funny but we love who we love right? Daniel has your sense of humor
Hugs Cecilia
I love your nativity scene.
Fascinating how today each post Inreaf goes into the past. Love those nook pics. Painting while an agent was news I enjoyed.
I remember the bust too. Love the photos taken on the sly of Bob.
You certainly are a tease on what you bought.
I really love your nook!!
I can't believe it..email still not fixed and now the dishwasher is on the fritz...it's making me crazy.

Goodness, this has been fun - following all the past posts! Wonder when you and I connected? I’ve been blogging since January 2010 so I’m just a little behind you! And I see you and Ginny and Sue have been friends for a long time! I just love that!
I love the stain glass nativity scene!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love the bust, and the stained glass. Looking forward to your next post. 🙂
I just love how that Nook looks, both in daylight and at night.
I've been looking around on your blog so I'm wondering if you walked out with Bob's head? I think it's the prophet Isaiah, but then Bob has that look,Old Testament or Old Sea Captain. Sorry, Old showed up in both suggestions -- and now I'm giggling madly. Don't tell Bob, please...
what an inspiring post! you always come up with great ideas to make your/our spirits merry, and oh so beautiful!! your nativity scene is lovely! love your pictures. Big hugs!
I can’t wait to see what you came out with. Love your Nativity! I love the art you made out of one of your photos. Your Nook is so pretty!
