It's A Waterful Life

At 4 AM I said to Bob, Keep Palm and Carry On...

The winds had howled all night and the temp was a Palmy 48 degrees,

 IN FLORIDA.

Welcome to the first 3 days of April!

The good news was it was all at one end and 20 minutes later they were gone.

Next Night Repeat Again!

 "Happy as a Clam"

Third night Repeat

"Yeah Buoy"

"Shell Yeah!" we are floating into summer and it's a waterful life!

I am secretly waiting to see if this will make Bob listen to me when I say lets get rid of that Avocado tree.

Good grief, and it was 76 here! For once, it is hotter here than in Florida! Maybe Bob LIKES to scoop out the leaves? Did you hear about the big polluted water leak and evacuation near Tampa? I don't think you are very close to there, thankfully.

we were puzzled too... the temps dropped and we got a storm... and some unhappy chaps got even snow... in april...aaargh!

But what about having avocados to eat? Scooping stuff out of water with a net is quite a meditational exercise i find. I could meditate on F doing it all day. xxx Mr T

Yikes, that's cold for you guys. Three nights in a row of that, no fun.

Hello,

We are finally warming up here! Looks like Bob has a job cleaning leaves from the pool.
My neighbor must have a lot of frogs in his pool, I guess he scoops the frogs out. I can hear them from my yard, they are loud frogs. Have a great day!

Our weather just keeps surprising me again and again! It's usually pool time by Easter. Keeping those leaves out of the pool would be a pain!

LOL...I will be surprised if it makes him want to get rid of it.

PS>..forgot to tell you I loved the video on Beau's blog.

Yes! We've been having some of the same (unusual) weather. In fact, I was able to wear my hoodie again yesterday morning. Only coming back from the grocery I noticed the thermometer on the truck's dashboard reading 80* and remarked, "I'd better take this off." (He just said, "Right now?")

If the avocado tree goes away, will you replace it with something else?

There's always something to add to the work load.
Brrrr...that's really cold.
Love your puns too.

48 in Florida...brrrr
I read about the horrible mess in your county. I was wondering if it was close to you. I saw on YAM's post you stated 10 miles. YIKES
Dentist over and I'll post about it on Thankful Thursday.

Hello Sandra,:=) If Bob is like Americo he likes cleaning the leaves from the pool. Has this really long net, and it it does the job in no time. Thank goodness it's hot weather here, and no wind. We have conifers round the pool, so only a few leaves are blown inside the water.

Debby@Just Breathe said...

That definitely makes it easier to clean when the wind has blown the leaves to one end of the pool.

Good luck with your leaves. It's windy here, too! Hopefully no trees down across the road for Andy. 🙂

At least they should be easy to scoop out, when they are all at one end.

Tell your hubby not to be shellfish! Wave goodbye to that leaf-dropping tree. You need a bit of cod-dling.

Sandra, could you email me? My address is on my blog. I have something I'd like to send you.

Do you really want the avocado tree taken down?

Probably not! Wish I had an avocado tree!! We put up with lots of beards, spirals, leaves and more form our pecan trees - but we love the pecans and the shade from the trees!
