It All Started with a new Tree 3

the tree came with no lights and tiny pinecones wired on the limbs.
I loved it. I added a strand of fair lights, and decided to just have the pinecones.
THEN
I ordered small ornaments from Amazon,
and a bag of tiny pinecones, the pinecones came and were HUGE and not tiny and the small metal ornaments were so miniature I needed glasses to see them.
Returned it all,

While shopping at Walmart Saturday as I rushed by the ornaments, which I had checked 3 days before and found nothing, i spied a card of red glitter covered pinecones, the same size as the ones on the tree.
9 of them for $1.98.
I love them, I dug through old ornament's and found 6 small balls from 1986
and this is what is on it, in daylight.
I love it now, daylight or dark.

You will not BELIEVE this!!! My mind is BLOWN! Remember...did I tell you I had this same tree, only the burlap was checkered? And I had a hard time finding ornaments for it, just like you. I got the SAME red sparkly pine cones at Wal Mart! Three cards of them!!! And it was perfect. So I used the natural pine cones along with the red ones, no other ornaments. I got compliments on it, too. I have looked everywhere in my folders, but can't find a picture of it. I know we have so much in common, but this is getting spooky!!

It looks fantastic. I like that section of ornaments for mini trees that Walmart has. They have some really cute things there. Those pinecones are perfect.

It's perfect! I have a bowl of little pinecones that I picked up in the mts of NC years ago. Mostly I see BIG ones here! lol

See, you knew you'd 'know' when it felt right!
I love pinecones of all shapes and sizes. That vintage silver ball with the red stripe looks just like what used to hang on my mother's tree.

Perfect for your nook.
You love red so those glittery pinecones are the answer for the tree.
I remember balls like those on my folks tree many, many years ago.
I guess Third time is the charm...
Good for you!!

Hi Sandra, Well at least I have caught up with the your Christmas Tree post, and the ending is just perfect, for the glittery red pine cones are in proportion with the tree now, and look just right, and also what a terrific bargain they were. Well done! Your determination and hard work paid off and I love the outcome.
