Weeds in the pine straw, we leave them there because I like the tiny white flowers.
Lizards that always always make me say awww
I snapped this while talking to him.
I said "does the sun feel good?" Don't worry, I will not hurt you. He stares into my eyes, just like Beau does.
Hinges on the gate
Spanish or Air moss that visitors to our state buy in gift stores.
Stick that tiny ball on a shell and sell, sell, sell.
The one above is on sale for $8.00 ebay HERE
I can pull the one by the hinge below and mail it. of course the mailing postage might be more than the
Spanish Ball Moss. our yard is Full of it.
There is always something in the back yard shining in the sun.
BACKYARD Label HERE has 100 posts in it and that is not all.

They are not weeds, they are wildflowers. Your yard is decorated with the latest rage, Farmhouse Chic!!
we saw our first lizard somewhere in da south as we picked up da Neilson. we have to admit that we both were so scared, that we jumped back in the car... it was a giant beast, 4"...like a dragon :O)
We love your gate hinge - great patina. We wonder what stories it could tell of people who passed through. xxx Mr T
I'm with Ginny, hurray for wildflowers! You have a fascinating yard, because you take the time to look at things.
I wouldn't pull that either. Those little white flowers are pretty.
You always find something interesting in your back yard. I go in mine and see the same old things. Nothing interesting at all.
I would like the little white flowers too. They are pretty.
Cute lizard, they are good climbers. The air moss is pretty too, it reminds me of a tiny spider plant. Take care, have a happy day!
Moss can be invasive, but a work if art on the gate's hinge.
The tatechinge itself is really beautiful.

Fabulous photos, Sandra - and I agree with others, that last shot is frameable!!! YAM xx
Sandra you captured such fun and beauty in your backyard.
The lizard is posing nicely too
Hugs Cecilia
Weeds are someone else's wildflowers. These are beautiful! I also go awwww whenever I see a lizard. I enjoy your backyard :)
We could both make a fortune on air plants, couldn't we? Stay warm this morning and enjoy your day!
I would love some Spanish moss - but I don't think it grows here.
Hello Sandra,:=) I like those pretty white flowers too, but I have never heard of Air moss. It is an attractive plant.Cute little lizard, and I mustn't forget the hinge, it's an interesting subject to photograph and could be framed. I like your observations in your back yard Sandra, and will look up others, when I have more time.My daughter is here today, the sun is shining, and we are going out to find something to photograph.
I don't know what you call it, but I'm really taken with old iron hinges, etc. The entire fence and gate leading into the Confederate memorial down the street is made from that old iron with baseball-size balls atop.
We've lots of those tiny wildflowers/weeds, too. I actually prefer them to the roses.
You can count yourself fortunate that you've got a "small fortune" in your back yard :) ... I'd probably talk to the lizard, too - I even find myself talking to inanimate objects now and then...
I like the little white flowers and if they grew on my yard I would likely leave them there as well.
I would like to see that last picture cropped square with the moss hinge and some of the weathered wood. It would make a real wall hanger.

I love the pictures you shared and I would keep things exactly like you did. I do have a thing for lizards. They are so cute.
Back yards have always been a source of adventure and enjoyment for me, too. And that includes these visits to your back yard, too.
Keep 'em coming!
love the wildflowers...
That is one very pretty weed, we like to think of it as a wildflower with those pretty white flowers.
