Under the Elephant Ear

Linda from Linda's Life Journal asked if I knew an edit program she could use, she needs to change. I use PicMonkey for mine but told her I had heard good things about Pixlr.

You know me, I had to TRY it!  These were all created using Pixlr. Do any of you use Pixlr? any Advice for Linda?

I practiced with a few of the looking up Elephant Ears and I am impressed with it, and it is a lot less expensive than PicMonkey.

Who is that grey haired woman?

It is all beautiful. Is it free? I never heard of it. I still use Lunapic.

That sounds like fun. Thanks!

It looks like you can do interesting things with it. I use Luminar but it can't do that stuff.

I think I may have pointed you to PixlR some time back... once I found it, I left all other online editing tools alone! I pay for the premium membership, which permits access to a much wider variety of effects. That said, there's a lot that can be done for free!!! YAM xx

I have tried all different kinds of editing sites and have never been comfortable with any of them. I'm a photoshop elements girl all the way.

Thanks for featuring photo edit programmes. I like tech programmes that are free and familiar. I don't use the computer enough to pay extra but good for you Sandra as I know you like to play on your computer and try new graphics. Great job!

Funny lady! Better turn over before you become dizzy!

I never heard of Pixlr but will be on my way to check it out. Gosh, I love learning stuff from my friends in Blogville. Better than 'Hints from Heloise'!

I grew up (in Mississippi) among elephant ears which grew luxuriantly in that humid subtropical climate, but planted them for the first time here in Oregon (where I've lived since '86). They did really well, but about two weeks ago, they appeared to be nearing the end of their growing season, although the weather has been very hot. Do you happen to know if they simply don't have a long season?

I didn't even know that they charged. I thought they were free!

I haven't used any of the programs you mentioned.
I still use my old and outdated Picasa for my camera photos.
Its free and free works for me at this time.
I will have to come out of the Dark Ages and look into these programs soon.
I do really like that grey haired woman in the photos. (:0)

I know you have so much fun with the editing and that is great. I do edit as well, but mostly use Lightroom.

I love your Elephant Ears! I basically don't edit any longer either. And since I only use my phone camera, my pictures probably are
not all they can be. But still, it's amazing what mother nature can provide for you even without any editing.

I don't use anything to change my photos. I love that you play with yours all the time.
