The sketch above is from Ann's SnapEditScrap blog, each week she draws in her tablet one per day and post them. I use them for inspiration using my iPad.
This time, instead of trying to copy exactly, I studied it long and hard and closed it and came up with this from memory. I chose the snail because I love snails.
Note! find the leaves she ate?
and just because I am The Mad One, per Ginny from Let Your Light Shine, I continued to Play with the snail.Yummy Sunflower Petals, It takes Two
I happened to notice the Insta Toon App on my iPad and continued to play by adding different backgrounds..

These are so whimsical and heart-warming, Sandra! I adore you right back!!! YAM xx
Je t'adore
I love your snails, and the 'art' you made with them! And your puns made me giggle. Despite your burdens you are still full of spirit and humor!
And I just read the previous post...LOL! Love that staghorn! And now you are living in the greenlight district. We sometimes have a yellow light in our porch, its said to keep the bugs away, as they don't come to is as easily as a regular light; esp all the moths!
Your snail is adorable. I love all the different versions but that watercolor background is my favorite.
Your snails are so darn cute! Lots of hugs from all of us.
Hello Sandra,
Well done on the copy cat art.
The snail is cute, I like all the images but the one with the sunflower petals is a favorite. Pretty backgrounds.
Take care, have a great weekend.
Your cute little snails would make sweet greeting cards! I bet you could come up with all kinds of cute notes to go along with them, and they would be a best seller! I can envision Get Well Cards, Happy Birthday Cards, and thinking of you cards. I know, that's an ambitious project, but I just think that cute little snail character has a lot of "character"! He could become famous! I love this!! You did great! "Happy Snails to You, until we meet again"....
Well done, Sandra. If you love snails there is a book you absolutely need to read. It is called “The Sound of a Wild Snail Eating” by Elizabeth Tova Bailey. It’s not a long book and I guarantee you will love it. Enjoy your weekend. David
Enchanting snails I don't feel the same about slugs!
It must be snail season here because of all the rain! They are everywhere.
Cute drawings!
hugs

Your snails are cute! I like how you did the shells and your sayings are good too!
You did a wonderful job here Sandra with this cute snail. My favorite is the colorful one with the pineapples in the background. They are all very good...
Very nice MS
I like the nice shade of aqua blue too
Hugs cecilia
Love your snails. Those backgrounds are nice. I think the sunflower looks very surprised that the snails are eating it.
Yes, I (think I) spotted those undigested leaves! Like Hari said, the snails are totally whimsical. (Don't you love that word?!) The eyes and cute little smile give me all the feels.
Keep on, keeping on!
What a cute snail and your snail jokes are great!
Too, too cute. I love how you made the snail your own. Keep it up !!
Sue
You take something and you just run with it! Love it - especially with the sunflowers!
Hi hi hi! Ojo here! My person says that looks like a fun thing to be doing with the snails! Also, I saw a snail in the forest today in the rain! Sending licks and wags to all of you!
Happy snails. So cute. ❤️❤️
That’s the first snail I have found really cute! 🐌 Love the sunflowers too sunflowers 🌻
