Barcode ME! on Selfie Sunday

Each of the four days Bob was in the hospital, I had my photo taken and a bar-code stuck on my shirt. If you happened to see me and just HAD  to know who I was and whom I was visiting and also happened to have a bar-code reader with you, just run right up and scan it and instantly be In The Know!

The primary purpose of a barcode is to quickly and accurately identify and track products, inventory, OR , Humans.

Note! there is NO close up photo available of the photo the machine took of me and printed on the sticker. Worse than my worst Drivers License Photo.

PS: if you agree to ride up in the elevator with me and talk down my anxiety, I will sign the sticker and you can save for your retirement funding and Surely there will be someone left alive that will recognize The MadSnapper autograph!

RIGHT???    💋  MadSnapper💋

It's my blog too, and I will add my selfie if I want to!💋 Beau💋

Love it and now I have seen it all, we can get bar coded! What ever next? Yes dear sweet Beau, we know it’s your blog too. Always happy to see you. You all have a wonderful new month with the blessings you deserve.

That's fascinating! I've never heard of that being done before, but the world keeps changing. I love the pictures of you both and think of you often. Much love.

You look so different in each of the photos! Well, I guess we really are all just a number. Our hospitals take our pics and make us stick them on, but no bar codes yet.

At least you have the trademark Sandra smile in the selfies! Nice selfies BTW- did all this make you lose weight? Take care you don't get gaunt and ill yourself.

You always look good. For me, though, bar coded? Ummm ... not sure I'm comfortable with that. I'm glad I'm growing my hair out, gonna try to let it be long (see how long that lasts! LOL), so I can cover my face if I wanna. Yeah, I'm a rebel. LOL Praying that y'all stay healthy. Love.

It's one step up from having a number printed on our foreheads . .

I haven't visited anyone in the hospital in a long time. I wonder if they do that around here too. I miss the days when things were simpler and none of that stuff was necessary.

Hello,
I have never seen the barcode sticker, I have had the visitor passes. Love yours and beau's selfies. Happy Sunday, have a great day!

Wow, now I've heard of everything! Well...maybe not everything yet, but times are a changing and things are happening in this world that we may not like very much when they try to force us into doing things we know we shouldn't. And they will tell us it is for our safety and protection, etc. Oh my. But anyway, I love your selfies and Beau's too. Those are the real sweet faces that we all know and love. No barcode needed to know you're the real deal! I hope your Sunday is pleasant and peaceful. Sending you (((hugs))) from up the road a little ways.

A new procedure in a place where procedures are done daily! I have no doubt that your signature is going to become famous so better get the online auction going. I wonder which of you on-line fans will start the bidding?

Wow, I've not seen that before! I think you look great!
Hi Beau!

That's an interesting way to track visitors. We've never heard of a hospital doing that here.

Well, seeing your smiling face just made my day! The autograph aside made me laugh out loud.
They've been doing that here, as well .... at least the last 4 years that I'm aware of. Pretty clever, isn't it?

The bar code is a new one for me too. This number id makes me uncomfortable but what are we going to do?
Great selfies of you and Beau.
Windy and hot today and we're just about ready to go to church.

Way to go Beau......yep, you needed your selfie on here today as well. We had to get a barcode when we visited my niece when she was in rehab for the infection in her knee. One of the questions when preparing the barcode was are you a doctor, visitor, pastor....Of course, Sam always selected Doctor....His photo and barcode had printed at the top....DOCTOR. he can be a character sometimes...

We get barcoded too when visiting the hospital! It is a weird world we live in and no way to stay anonymous. LOVE THIS!

Oh! My! Cod! We have been reduced to Bar Codes! Actually, they had machine that did that at the hospital my husband was in 6 years ago. It died the 2nd day I was there to visit him and it was still broken 6 months later. I LOVE the Beau selfies! Sending you hugs and Kitty Kisses Barb (and Marvelous)

That's interesting about the bar codes. Haven't seen that at our hospital yet. So you don't like elevators? However they do make you go through a metal detector.

The hospital I worked at had something like that. The barcode gets read as you go though each door so everyones location is known.

LOl - that is pretty funny. Hopefully a scanner wouldn't put a price on you - you are truly priceless:). When hubby was in the hospital for surgery, I had a sticker on my shirt that allowed me to move to the second waiting room for post-surgery consultations. And I had a special code I had to use if I called in to the hospital for any information about him. Safety first, I guess.

no barcoding here... the mama had only a barcode sticker with the price on her pants ... it said 1.99 LOL hugs to you and all power of the paw
