Today is Halloween and these are just here for the "BOOS"
Our golden rain tree used to be three times this size, this is from my front porch. It has blooms on it now. a third of the tree was cut off to take down a rotted tree that partially fell on our roof a few years ago. First time it has bloomed since then.
Golden Rain Tree, which is known for its showy flowers and distinctive papery seed pods. The scientific name for this tree is Koelreuteria elegans or Koelreuteria paniculata.
Last but not least Mama Cuban Tree Frog, was guarding the pool pump when I went to pump it... she is about 3 to 4 inches long and can hop way high and far..

Your golden rain tree is lovely - it's nice that it recovered from its shock lopping.
Your Halloween art is very entertaining and I am happy to see the Golden Rain Tree and the Cuban Tree Frog. Maybe if you kiss the frog he will turn into a prince and take you to a place without hardship, where you will sit on silk cushions and eat bonbons all day. I bet that doesn’t seem too bad right about now!
